2) In a nutshell, the medium duty Weld Column and Boom of this product section can be movable along the rails, and column revolved manually. Such specification of travelable models have very extensive application in industry, especially being applied in Pipeline and or Tank welding;
3) Under majority conditions, the successful running of this motor drive traveling welding machinery can not be done without cooperation from Welding Roller Bed;
4) At customer site, the equipment subsequent to LHZ series welding machinery is CNC Pipe End Face Milling Machine, for polishing on end face of Tanks/ Vessels post fabrication.
1) Traveling rails of trolly in the welding machine tool are of heavy duty standard railway guide rail, same as those used in LHA& LHC& LHT series H Beam Welding Machine;
2) Operating Panels: For the purpose of easy control and concise cable routing along the entire length boom of Welding Manipulator, control board of this Tank Welding Equipment are put on the traveling trolley, at the operating platform assembled onto the column. See below picture:

3) Control Consoles of Welding Arc Tracing unit (if any, see attached and below picture) and wire feeder are installed at front end of the boom, for the aim of easy access by operator during welding period:

4) Proper layout of this column and Boom welding equipment for tank welding at working site can make it playing critical role in delivering required and ideal finished products for customers;
This welding machinery has good mobility and large operating range. Working with various welding positioning unit, the equipment can fulfil on the tasks of:
a) Internal and external circumferential seam welding, longitudinal seam welding, spiral welding on revolving body of various workpieces;
b) Hard surfacing on internal and external surfaces of cylinder parts;
c) Spatial linear welding, such as transverse weld, oblique weld on structure members;
d) Fit with corresponding head, this Tank Welding Equipment can also be switched to carry out other operating tasks, such as grinding, cutting, painting, flaw detecting, etc.
e) Welding Modes and Workpiece Materials: Equipped with a system of gas shielded power supply, the Welding Column and Boom can be used as CO2 welding, on workpieces with thin wall, or materials other than carbon steel;
a) Inside the Welding Manipulator: Cables for controlling boom horizontal and vertical movement is by way of drag chain. See below picture:

b) From Weld Column and Boom to workshop power supply: A power cord from this travelable welding machinery should be joint with power socket of workshop; For realizing long distance movement, several units of power sockets need to be arranged every certain distance, along the whole traveling stroke of the machine tool.
