1) The attached photos were taken at a modern facility producing medium to large scale pipelines and tanks. The main equipment adopted are groups of Heavy duty Moving Welding Manipulator, and Welding Rotators;
2) Considering the heavy tonnage of workpieces tanks/ cylinders to be fabricated, the Welding Rotators working with these Heavy duty Tank Welding Machine are usually HLK Bolt Adjusting Welding Roller Bed, which has loading capacity up to 1000 ton to 2000 ton;
3) This product section of Heavy duty Moving Weld Column and Boom wraps up our introduction on standard product of automatic Weld Manipulator. From next section we will go on introduction on special made Welding Manipulator.
a) Horizontal boom transverse travel is controlled with inverter and shown in digital display. The corresponding speed is adjustable welding speed of the Welding Column and Boom;
b) By the transmission of gear and rack couple, the boom travel features in high precision and accurate positioning, guaranteeing high level uniform finished product quality delivered from Welding Manipulator: (Fig.2)
c) The adopted gear reducer for driving boom traveling is produced by top grade professional supplier in the industry, of which lubrication is oil immersed enclosed style, eliminating invasion of slag/ dirt/ particle into the Weld Manipulator, thus bringing forth advantages of maintenance free and long service life of the Heavy duty Tank Welding Machine;
The motor drive cross slides with torch fit on it can ensure accurate positioning of the welding torch, making sure accurate, stable and high standard welding performance from this Welding Manipulator;
a) Square cross section shape high precision rails are used on both column and boom of the Heavy duty Moving Welding Manipulator;
b) These highly accurate guide rails are planed and grinded post annealing, guaranteeing stability during welding of the Heavy duty Tank Welding Machine;
a) The saddle is box structure in LHZ series Heavy duty Moving Welding Manipulator, of which its top is connected with the chain of boom elevation unit, and its rear is mounted onto the upright column thru pulley, its front is fit with boom thru pulley;
b) Cross slides saddle is the critical moving joint during work of the LHZ Welding Column and Boom;
This system can be divided into 3 segments of control elements inside control board, operating panel, and remote pendant:
a) The control elements inside the control board have contactors/ control transformer/ inverter, and terminals on it;
b) These units mainly serves as controlling on/off of motor, performing motions of the Welding Manipulator, and implementing protection on the motor;
The components on the operating panel are: Digital speed display of boom horizontal speed, power lamp, power switch, boom travel button, boom elevating switch, inverter alarm lamp, etc.;
a) As can be seen from the above photo, these buttons/ switches include: Power lamp/ Boom speed pre-set/ Cross slides button/ Boom travel button/ Welding on/off button. The remote pendant is used for controlling this LHZ Heavy duty Moving Welding Manipulator;
b) By means of the operating panel and remote pendant, all the sections of the automatic Welding Column and Boom can be operated individually;
c) Besides, various parameters can be adjusted on practical condition, realizing integral control of the Welding Manipulator with its welding system, and other welding equipment, such as Welding Positioner.
