1) Medium duty Weld Manipulator: For product family of LHZ series Welding Manipulating Equipment, specifications between 3×3 and 5×5 (5×5 excluding) boom movement stroke is divided into medium range of Cross Slides Weld Column and Boom. Here 3x3 refers to the max. elevating and horizontal stroke of 3,000mm respectively;
2) Loading: The corresponding allowable loading capacity at the front end of horizontal boom in Welding manipulator is in the range of 80~ 120kg.
1) The upright Column Revolve Way: This is done by manual job: Hand push and lock;
a) First lower down the horizontal boom to its bottom position;
b) Unlock the upright column by means of loosing the locking lever in the Welding Manipulator;
c) Push the horizontal boom forward by hand, which correspondingly leads the upright column into rotation, until the boom and column arrive at target position, in this Cross Slides Weld Column and Boom;
d) Secure and lock the upright column again by means of locking lever;
e) From above description, we can see that the manual column rotating operation of Welding manipulator is similar to L arm lowering down in Lifting style L type Welding Positioner;
a) Flexible Work: With this degree of freedom, the Cross Slides Weld Column and Boom have access to the whole circle of locations surrounding it, which means it can be easily switched operation from current workpiece to the next one--- A set of High Efficiency Welding Column and Boom thus come into being;
b) This is the reason why majority of Welding Manipulator has its upright column capable of revolving;
a) As shown in the above photo, the revolving base in the Weld Column and Boom is strengthened with circle of stiffeners;
b) The slewing support is installed beneath the base bed of Welding manipulator;
a) Hand pushing column rotation is more often seen being applied in medium duty and light duty High Efficiency Welding Column and Boom;
b) As with heavy duty Weld Column and Boom, motor drive revolve is more often than manual operation;
a) As introduced the previous product, cross slide (Saddle) is the joint in any set of Weld Column and Boom, which plays key role for running of this Welding Manipulating Equipment;
b) Cross slides determines position precision of boom travel in both horizontal X axis and vertical Y axis, and hence welding precision delivered from any set of Welding Manipulator in large extent;
c) Structure of cross slides (Saddle) is shown in below 2 pictures for compare. The left one is for light duty Welding Manipulator, and the right one is for medium and heavy duty Welding Manipulator:
d) Although looks a bit different in terms of appearance, cross slides has similar structure and working among different loading capacities of High Precision Welding Column and Boom;
e) As can be observed from the above photos, there are 4 pieces of precise eccentric rollers at its front side, for guiding leftward and rightward movement of horizontal boom;
f) Likewise, there are another 4 pieces of precise eccentric rollers assembled at its rear side, for guiding up and down movement of horizontal boom;
g) In this way, positioning accuracy of welding torch in this High Precision Weld Column and Boom can fully be guaranteed.
