1) Working Feature: Every working step in this model of Welding Manipulator is automatic and manipulated with operating pendant: It has motor drive column revolve, in CW (Clockwise) and CCW (Counter Clockwise) direction;

a) Working together with Welding Rotator, the workpiece pipe is being welded on its external top surface;
b) By means of moving along rail of the Welding Column Boom, longitudinal seam welding can be fulfilled in high efficiency and performance level;
c) By means of rotating the Welding Turning Roll of the Welding Rotator, circumferential seam welding can be fulfilled efficiently and satisfactorily;
d) Based on management of welding seam tracker (Please check below photo), controllable and consistent welding seam quality can be guaranteed:

3) In all, working in such way, this high quality cost effective column and Boom welding equipment can be viewed as a kind of conventional Pipe Welding Machine.
Here we give brief introduction on working on motor drive moving trolley Weld Manipulator based on its operating pendant as below:
Operating pendant equipped with the welding manipulating machine: (Fig.3)
1) ADJUST SPEED and SPEED (mm/min): This is for controlling and displaying horizontal boom transverse speed, which is also welding speed on welding workpieces;
2) Red Color E-STOP: It is for shutting down this automatic Pipe Welding Machine within the shortest time when contingency happens;
3) COLUMN CW/ CCW: This toggle switch controls both ways of motor drive rotation of the upright column, which corresponds with changing operating zone of the welding machinery;
4) TRANSPORTATION ON/ OFF: This toggle switch switches on and off trolley movement of the moving structure welding equipment;
5) RECYCLE ON/ OFF: This toggle switch turns on and off flux recovery unit of the SAW (Submerged arc welding) mode Weld Manipulator;
6) BOOM UP/DOWN: This toggle switch is for moving up and down horizontal boom, when diameter of the pipe in this Pipe Welding Machine changes;
7) TROLLEY/ BOOM: This toggle switch can transfer the toggle switch at its left hand on controlling either Trolley or Boom. This is for the purpose of getting compact size of the operating pendant;
a) This toggle switch works together with the toggle switch at its right hand;
b) When the right toggle switch is put to “TROLLEY”, this switch controls on trolley moving direction, also that of the entire machine set;
c) When the right toggle switch is put to “BOOM”, this switch controls horizontal direction of the boom, which is also welding direction on workpieces;
9) Green Color Pushbutton START and Red Color Pushbutton STOP: These 2 pieces of pushbuttons start on and off the complete set of the medium duty Moving Welding Column and Boom;
10) WIRE UP/ DOWN: This toggle switch changes welding wire feeding direction of the wire feeder, during working period of the machine;
11) UP/ DOWN and LEFT/ RIGHT: These 2 pieces of toggle switches manipulate on exact position of the welding torch in inching way, making it aiming at welding seam all the while, for process control on welding operation;
12) Finally, the operating pendant being discussed here is just an example. The specific design of the pendant can be made based on customer requirement.
