In the attached first photo, operator was checking on the cross beam structure just finished face milling with Wuxi JACK CNC-DX1520 CNC H Beam End Face Milling Machine.
1) CNC-DX1520 is one of the most applicative models in both ordinary and CNC Steel Structure End Face Milling Machine, because of its fitting size of workpiece falling within the scope of largest volume: Max. 1500 mm height by 2000 mm width;
2) As can be seen from the first photo, the operating stand is fixed type at bottom of the machine column --- Operator does not need to rise together with milling head to observe working progress of the CNC machines. An adult working staff can catch the vertical face milling stroke of 1500 mm;
3) The workpiece machined in this CNC machines can be all kinds of structure members ---H Beam/ I Beam/ Cross Beam/ BOX Beam/ Tube, or the complicated structure as shown in the 2nd photo… Whatever shape of cross section you may need.
1) With the help of CNC controller, operator of the CNC H Beam End Face Milling Machine does not need to care on how to have facer blade setting, as in ordinary H Beam End Face Milling Machine --- CNC system will finish these jobs, including finding zero point as initiation of end face milling operation, positioning the facer blade to the zero point, etc.…
2) Instead, operator should command on the ability on operating the CNC controller of the DX series machines,
a) Being familiar with distribution of buttons/ switches/ interface ports/ function keys on the front panel of the CNC controller (Please check the 3rd photo);
b) Call out part programs for doing end face milling from embedded library;
c) Modify parameters of workpiece and operation based on practical condition, etc.;
3) So, you can see, with technological development of DX series CNC Welding Structure End Face Milling Machine, so is also the requirement on skill of its working staff. On the other hand, the developing trend is always on the way to better friendly operation, higher precision, and higher manufacturing efficiency.
1) Traditional Use: For over decades, DX-series machine is confined to steel structure application for H Beam/ I Beam/ BOX Beam. This is the reason such equipment was named directly as “H Beam End Face Milling Machine”;
2) Extended Application with CNC models: Over the past 6~7 years, with higher demand on design of steel structure projects, as well as the End Face Milling Machine being expanded to application in more industries, working on other kinds of workpieces such as pipe, or with those cut holes inside, more and more “special” shape workpieces necessary on end face milling appears. Echoing this market demand, CNC was introduced to End Face Milling Machine;
3) CNC controller of the machine is originated from that of CNC Strip Plate Cutting Machine. There are many commands/ Functions inside the CNC still fitting for plate cutting use. Meanwhile, because of lesser function involved in CNC End Face Milling Machine, for example, there is no necessity of workpiece nesting/ torch height controlling … as in the case of CNC Strip Plate Cutting Machine, all the functions required on the CNC-DX series models machine can be identified in this CNC controller;
4) So, this control system matches perfectly with the CNC models, helping upgrading the End Face Milling machine to a new level and generation. And, both the CNC Strip Plate Cutting Machine and CNC Section Steel End Face Milling Machine work in rugged working condition of spark/ heat/ scrap, there is no issues of “Not acclimatized” with this CNC controller;
5) The remaining main units of the CNC machine: Milling head (The attached 4th photo), machine frame (The attached 5th photo), cable wiring (The attached 6th photo), are all the same with ordinary type End Face Milling Machine.
