3) In the early days of this automatic equipment for steel plate end chamfering, its mechanical machine body was usually designed and produced in such structure of half open frame: That at both ends of the Edge Milling Machine working table, there is a piece of wall board extended in the length of 1,000mm ~1,500mm, depending on plate edge milling stroke of the machine;

1) Such way of design has strong point of sturdy and strong Edge Beveling Machine mechanical main body;

1) For these reasons, the latest decade years see upgrade on design of the Edge Milling Machine body into current style of open gantry beam, under the prerequisite of maintaining sufficient rigidity, firmness and stability of the machine mechanical body of steel plate beveling;
2) At the same time, there are still some customers who prefer such structure of machine body of machine for carrying out edge milling operation.
1) During work, milling head is installed onto moving carriage, to travel along work table of the machine for steel plate beveling job. There are two sets of carriages in this double heads Steel Plate Edge Milling Machine;
2) Please check attached picture and below photo. The carriage consists of four main units of bottom holding rack, top vertical column, driving motors, and milling head itself;
3) The milling head moving carriage in Wuxi JACK Steel Plate Edge Milling Machine: (Fig.5)
1) This bottom rack supports the entire moving group of milling unit, which is transmitted and engaged with mechanical main body of the machine of edge milling task, by means of precise linear guideway and racks;
2) This bottom holding rack has trapezoidal shape cross section, which has the best strength and balance for edge milling operation in the machine;
This is a square cross section shaped structure, fit just above the holding rack, serving as assembling base of milling head, and its vertical position adjustment in the machine for steel plate edge milling performance;
1) Control board of the milling unit in the machine of steel plate edge milling is also integrated into the column;
2) The motor (2.2kW) for driving the carriage moving along work table of the machine is inside the bottom holding rack;
3) The motor (1.1kW) for driving milling head up and down along the column is at top of the column;
This is the core working unit of the machine, fulfilling on task of milling out welding groove by means of sheet metal edge chamfering.
