3) The technical difficulty lies in maintaining its uniform precision, sufficient rigidity, and stable performance of SXBJ-18 and other models of large Edge Milling Machine;
1) As can be found from the attached photos, this set of SXBJ-18 large model machine for sheet metal plate edge milling is installed and operated at an indoors working environment;
2) This can protect the machine of edge milling from negative impact of direct infiltration of wind, rain and storm, which is more easy to acquire stable and precise performance of the Large Sheet Metal Plate Edge Miller;
3) Comparatively, there are some outdoors installed SXBJ-18 or other large models machine of sheet metal plate end milling being put into use at customer facility. This is considered out of available ample space for easy operation and broad material handling zone of the large Edge Milling Machine;
1) Applicable Sites: This SXBJ-18 heavy duty machine for sheet metal plate edge chamfering which is equipped with double milling heads is usually applied in Heavy Industry/ Projects/ Construction Sites, such as Steel Structure, Shipbuilding, Railway, Power Plant..., etc.;
2) Function: The SXBJ-18 and other large Edge Milling Machine fulfil on the task of welding groove milling on single piece of huge size sheet metal plates; Or, several pieces of smaller and medium size metal plates can be pressed in a row, in the Large Sheet Metal Plate Edge Miller to be beveled together;

1) Edge Milling on Top and Bottom Edges: To complete on both top and bottom edges chamfering with one time traveling stroke of milling head carriage along worktable of the double heads long stroke Edge Milling Machine, the two sets of milling head share the tasks of making welding grooves on top and bottom edges respectively;

1) Based on thickness and designed cutting depth of the machine for edge milling, the working speed on edge milling should be able to adjusted continuously within certain range (130~ 1000mm/min.), with intuitive display at the same time, during machine running;
2) Such milling working velocity modulation is controlled with A.C. inverter, adjusted with speed knob, and display in digital meter, which are installed on operating panel of the machine of edge milling;
3) Make adjustment on working speed during running of the machine of metal plate end milling: (Fig.4)
1) Workpiece Type: In XBJ and SXBJ series Sheet Metal Plate Edge Chamfering Machine, the workpiece can be either an integral piece of big and heavy steel plate, or two or more pieces of smaller steel plates;
2) Workpiece Feeding In and Out: These steel plates are sent into the Sheet Metal Plate Edge Miller by way of a row of front extension floor fitting supporting racks;
The front extension racks and a piece of thick steel plate on the racks, to be sent into Wuxi JACK SXBJ-18 model large machine of sheet metal plate edge milling: (Fig.5)
3) Workpiece Assistant Loading: This group of supporting racks can be assisted with optional hydraulic loading unit, so that steel plate, especially large and heavy steel plate can be pushed into and pulled out large Edge Milling Machine with more convenience and safe operation;
The Wuxi JACK Exclusively owned hydraulic drive assistant loading system for the Sheet Metal Plate Beveling Equipment: (Fig.6)
a) Shown in the attached photos and below picture, the workpiece steel plate is secured firmly onto XBJ and SXBJ models machine worktable for steel plate edge chamfering, by means of an array of hydraulic drive Jacks;
b) The quantity of these hydraulic drive jacks depends on the maximum working stroke of the machine for edge milling. In the case of this SXBJ-18 Large Sheet Metal Plate Edge Miller, it is usually 30 pieces in one set of machine;
c) The array of hydraulic drive Jacks presses a piece of edge milled steel plate onto worktable of Wuxi JACK SXBJ-18 large model machine for plate edge chamfering: (Fig.7)
