As you can find from attached photos, LHT series H Beam Submerged Arc Welding Machine has its main frame in the form of T shape, hence the product name gets from.
1) The LHT series T type H Beam Gantry Welding Machine is the counterpart of LHC H Beam SAW Machine, in making large size welding H Beam in semi automatic line, and also can be worked as an individual equipment: (Fig.1)
2) Also, customer can use LHA5C and LHZ55Z Gantry type H Beam SAW Machine for welding large size H Beam. But, as introduced earlier, for same size of H Beam produced, LHA series I Beam Gantry Welding Machine has wider machine frame compared with LHT series Gantry type H Beam Welding Machine.
Frame is core and foundation for the H Beam Welding Machine normal working. Playing the same role as gantry frame in the LHA (LHAZ and LHAC) series H Beam Gantry Welding Machine, the T frame machine body has functions of: (Fig.2)
a) Including control board, two sets of flux recovery unit (around 70~80kgs each set at average, depending how much welding flux loaded);
b) Two sets of welding unit of the H Beam Submerged Arc Welding Machine, covering traveling carriage, welding torch, wire feeder, arc tracing unit;
c) Transmission unit and Accessories in this LHT H Beam Gantry Welding Machine;
d) Altogether, only the two sets of welding power source of the Gantry type H Beam Welding Machine are put on the floor. The remaining units of the machine are all fit onto the machine T frame;
2) Drive the welding torches in adjusting welding speed to finish SAW process of the H Beam SAW Machine;
For these purposes, the T frame should be strong and sturdy, with sufficient strength and firmness, (likewise, gantry frame for the gantry style LHA series I Beam Gantry Welding Machine, and column-beam-trolley frame for the column style LHC series H Beam Welding Machine), in the rough working environment of SAW welding (Lots of heat and fume as well as dust generated at site) in the H Beam Submerged Arc Welding Machine.
For these reasons,
1) Rigidity and strength of the H Beam SAW Machine T frame are all calculated and simulated carefully in the early stage of design, advanced and reasonable. Main members of the main T Frame are distressed after welding, featuring in safe and reliable running with long term service life;
2) Same as column type LHC series H Beam Welding Machine, traveling of T frame in LHT series H Beam SAW Machine is double drive (LHA H Beam SAW Machine also). - - Both sides of the T frame are driven with two sets of A.C. motor and reducer, with speed controlled with inverter (This is also true with the LHA H Beam Gantry Welding Machine);
3) At the lateral side of rails, there are stop wheel units, ensuring smooth and safe running of T frame (This is also true with LHA H Beam Welding Machine) in the LHT model I Beam Gantry Welding Machine;
4) Control board of the LHT model H Beam Welding Machine is put at bottom of the T frame on its chassis. This kind of arrangement not only has merit of short and easy cable routing, but also can be served as counter weight for T frame travel.
