The CNC-DX3530 CNC H Beam Pipe End Facing Machine in the attached first photo was being installed at customer site, in a new facility workshop.
1) The workpieces to be end faced in this CNC Pipe End Face Milling Machine are in majority of pipe/ tube structure members which are used in Water Conservancy and Hydropower, as shown in the 2nd photo;
2) On the other hand, design of the hydraulic workpiece clamping rack makes the CNC models machine fitting for square shape of workpiece also;
3) The largest size of 3,500 mm height and 3,000 mm width is custom made based on standard specification model machines;
4) By means of CNC controller, A.C. inverter is not necessary in CNC Steel Structure BOX H Beam End Face Milling Machine, for managing on end face milling speed in horizontal and vertical direction; The pipe end face milling job can be made with quickest tool setting, working staff do not need to toil on jogging facer blade along X and Y axis.
CNC controller is the commanding center of the CNC models machine. It gives the machine below helpful abilities:
a) Depending on diameter of pipe, the cycle time for end face milling one piece of the workpiece varies from around 30 min. to 1 hour. During the period of valid working hour of 6.5~7 hours within one shift, sometimes end face milling on a large workpiece needs to be paused for next shift/ day working --- Considering the target of best OEE, and having best time utilization and least waste of idle time, such condition is not rarely happened in the daily working of the CNC Steel Structure BOX H Beam End Face Milling Machine;
b) The function of breakpoint continuation gives the CNC type machines to resume its paused job within shortest time and best accuracy, making the end face milling effect same as one time job;
The early stage of CNC controller took English as its working language. With popularity of CNC controlling equipment, all the major languages worldwide, including Chinese/ Russian/ French, etc. are adopted into the CNC, and can be switched within seconds;
Sometimes during work, we may want to have certain segment of workpiece rim to be end faced again--- Then with the help of CNC controller, facer blade of machine can return reversely to the expected starting point. This function is especially useful for applications of higher demand on end facing quality;
a) Also, similarly, at the completion of full circle end face milling, or at the beginning of end facing, or in the middle of end face milling, we may want to have end face milling jump to certain segment of workpiece rim specifically;
b) With corresponding command, this step can be made in the CNC type machines: CNC can have milling head and hence facer blade travels forward to the target point;
5) Complement: The attached 3rd photo shows without CNC, in ordinary Pipe End Face Milling Machine, working staff need to toil on facer blade aiming. With CNC, such annoyance can be removed; The attached 5th and 6th photos record main body and milling head (Same as those used in Edge Milling Machine) of the End Face Milling Machine.
