2. Installation on Heavy duty H Beam End Face Milling Machine:

DX series machines usually are dismantled into components and subassemblies for transportation, and re-assembled at customer facility. For large size and heavy duty End Milling Machine, three special points need to be taken care:

a) For DX series machines, its machine base bed should be kept levelness with strict care, especially for large size models machine, the measuring instrument of theodolite needs to be used for checking and validation;

b) Requirement: Maintain levelness of the machine bed within tolerance of 0.3mm/m, and linearity of horizontal guiderail (This is precise heavy duty linear guiderail) be kept within tolerance of 0.6mm along its whole length;

2) Erection of Vertical Column in Heavy Duty H Beam End Face Milling Machine:

b) For column erection of the Heavy Duty H Beam End Face Milling Machine at customer site, this should be done with teamwork:

i. Hoisting the column in vertical position with traveling crane (Hoisting capacity 15 Ton and above)/ slings/ spreaders;

ii. Install the vertical column onto the horizontal machine bed by way of its connecting boards, by means of 20+ pieces of M24 high strength bolts, the stipulated securing torque to be conformed;

iii. Make sure verticality of the erected column, and check it with heavy hammer and other verticality measuring instrument. For heavy duty H Beam End Milling Machine, upright of column is of vital importance, or the cumulative error may pose fatal issue to machine operation;
