Attached photos were taken for the DX1540 Steel Structure Milling and Facing Center exported to Central Europe several years ago by Wuxi JACK; It is composed of:
1) 2 sets of DX1540 CNC H Beam End Milling Machine (Of which one set is movable, the other set has revolving capability);
2) 5 sets of main positioning tables with hydraulic drive;
3) 1 set of turning table of 0°~60° as installation base;
4) Controlling and supporting systems;
So, let’s have a view on this sophisticated Welding Structure Member Milling and Facing Center.
a) Varied cross section size--- H Beam flange height changes along its whole length into an oblique line. The corresponding oblique angle is 0°~15°;
b) Slant cross section --- The plane of one end cross section is not perpendicular with respect to longitudinal axis of the workpiece, but with an angle range of 0° ~ 60°. Correspondingly, for the DX1540 machine of the Milling and Facing center, the max. cross section size at 0° is 1,500mm height x 4,000mm width; While at 60°, it is 1,500mm height x 2,000mm width;
c) Long length --- Compared with the routine length of 15,000mm, the H Beam machined here is 24m the longest length;
2) So, as supplier of Steel Structure Milling and Facing Center, what proposal should Wuxi JACK propose to customer, to make the equipment have capability on machining such special workpieces?
a) For the two sets of DX1540 models machine, one set should move along 24,000mm double rails, to accommodate on changing length of workpieces;
b) Besides, there are 5 sets of hydraulic drive main positioning tables, which are movable along the double rails also, serving as hold base for the long workpiece. The vertical stroke of oil cylinders of these positioning tables are different, so as to secure firmly the workpiece with oblique flange up to 15° inclination angle;
c) The other set of DX1540 Steel Structure Beam End Milling Machine, although fixed, is installed on the 0°~60° turning table, for easy of end facing slant cross section of workpiece;
d) As an analogy, the movable machine is like a traveling welding manipulator.
a) The 2 sets of CNC-DX1540 Beam End Milling Machine are installed in its foundation pit, at both ends of the face milling center, with the 5 main positioning tables in between;
b) Before working, both machines are reliable fixed by the hydraulic clamping devices;
c) Changes of the horizontal and vertical working speed of both the movable and turning Section Steel End Face Milling Machine machines for its milling cutter feed are executed with CNC control system. Adjustment and visual control of the feed rate is executed on the human machine interface of CNC control station;
a) Movable models machine is moving along two linear guide rails, the related travel speed: (piece length adjustment) - 3000 mm/min (non-adjustable);
b) Horizontal and vertical speed of cutter working feed of the two sets of machines: 150~ 600 mm/min. (gradual, stepless adjustment is performed with CNC control system);
c) Vertical speed of cutter quick action feed of the two machines: 1500 mm/min (non-adjustable);
