   In the first photo, operator was installing workpiece fixing table for a set of Wuxi JACK DX1215 BOX I H Beam End Face Milling Machine at workshop.



1. Background and Purpose of DX1215 BOX I H Beam End Face Milling Equipment for Steel Structure Workpiece:

1) Using Volume: Same as DX1520, DX1215 is another frequently selected small and middle size BOX I H Beam End Facing Equipment, especially in the early years of machine evolvement, in those years DX1215 had the largest selling volume. The biggest height of workpiece available for end facing in the DX1215 model is 1,200 mm;

2) The Latest Trend: In recent years, DX1520 gradually takes the place of DX1215, becoming the No.1 selling model in DX series BOX I H Beam End Face Milling Equipment. The reason: 1,500 mm height workpiece (H Beam/ I Beam) takes main stream in raw materials size of steel structure use. So, DX1520 model is often applied as end of line machining equipment in HB1500 H Beam Production Line (The most popular model in the field);

3) Comparatively nowadays, DX1215 model machine is mainly used for end facing on small and medium sized steel structure members, or working in 1200 BOX Beam Production Line.



2. Technical Outline on DX1215 BOX I H Beam End Face Milling Equipment for Steel Structure Workpiece:

1) Milling Head in BOX I H Beam End Face Milling Machine:

a) Please check the attached 2nd photo. End facing head is execution mechanism in the machine, performing end facing job in straight vertical plane of workpiece--- This is the major difference between DX series machine and XBJ series Edge Milling Machine. The Edge Milling Machine is for making beveling of X/Y/K/V chamfers on edge of metal plates;

b) Wuxi JACK Unique Capability: On the other hand, for DX series BOX I H Beam End Facing Equipment, the milling head can be turned 0°~ 45° integrally along the arc trace T slot, for the purpose of making chamfers on top edge of workpiece. Please check the attached 3rd photo. This adjustment is made with the manual work gear leaning along the milling head installation board. As can be seen from the attached 3rd photo, there is angle displaying ruler on the front cover of milling head, indicating its actual tilted angle in the Wuxi JACK BOX I H Beam End Face Milling Machine. The milling head is produced by renowned professional producers in industry;

2) Working Speed Control in BOX I H Beam End Milling Machine:

a) Working Speed: During work, end face milling speed of both horizontal and vertical directions is adjustable within the range of 100∼800mm/min. in the manner of variable frequency drive;

b) Operating Pendant: Please check the attached 4th photo on operating panel of the machine: There are 2 sets of digital display meters for indicating real time end facing speed in horizontal and vertical direction respectively. Please check the attached video on speed control process in the machine;

3) Milling Head Travel Guide in Wuxi JACK BOX I H Beam End Face Milling Machine:

In all the models of Wuxi JACK DX series equipment, both the horizontal and vertical movement for end milling job are guided with heavy duty precise linear guideways, which are assembled onto machine bed and column in detachable manner, instead of welding manner, guaranteeing loading capacity and accuracy of Wuxi JACK machine work;

4) Operation of BOX I H Beam End Face Milling Machine:

a) Operation on DX series machines is by means of the operating pendant as shown in the attached 4th photo. It is overhang from top of the vertical column, and can be revolved by hand 360°, closing at hand at any position for operator working;

b) Operator can easily operate end face milling operation, and observe the job simultaneously;

5) Workpiece Placement in BOX I H Beam End Milling Machine:

The attached 5th photo shows the common adopted design of workpiece hold table in small and medium models machine. Based on size and structure of workpiece, it can be personalized tailor, as the one in the first photo.
