Problem to be Solved: In the daily operation of large stroke (12m SXBJ-12 and above) Big Size Steel Plate End Chamfering Equipment, which corresponds with models of SXBJ-12 and above, one of the big issues for customers is how to load and unload large and heavy workpieces into and out of these big size machine for steel plate beveling;
2. Task of the System: To satisfactorily handle this important issue, Wuxi JACK has successfully developed and put into use the unique owned hydraulic drive supplementary disposing unit as a solution for machine of edge milling;

4. The Wuxi JACK unique owned hydraulic driving assistant loading and unloading system for the XBJ/ SXBJ models Big Size Steel Plate Edge Beveling Machine: (Fig.1)
5. Strong Points: The equipment for end chamfering on steel plate equipped with such system can be attributed as Advanced Configuration Edge Milling Machine, which has advantages of safe and high efficiency operation on workpiece movement, and the best degree protection on workpiece steel plates of the machine for plate beveling.
1) The task of XBJ and SXBJ series Steel Plate Edge Milling Machine is to make welding groove on heavy workpieces steel plate;
2) These workpieces are large and heavy steel plates, which are somewhat difficult and dangerous to be handled manually by operators during operation of the equipment for end chamfering on steel plate;
3) For this reason, Wuxi JACK has designed and produced this optional functioning unit of hydraulic drive steel plate pushing and pulling unit, for customers of the machine of edge milling to select;
4) Moment on running of the hydraulic assistant handling system with steel plate on it for being automatically loaded into Wuxi JACK Big Size Steel Plate Edge Milling Machine: (Fig.2)

2) As can be observed from the above photo, this supporting unit is assembled into the workshop floor, in the form of several fitting front extension racks in the front of the Steel Plate End Chamfering Equipment main frame;
3) Each piece of these extension rack is made of several pieces of cover plates, which are painted in bright yellow color. The definite quantity of these cover plates is determined by the largest length of workpiece steel plate to be processed in the machine for edge milling operation;
4) In each of these cover plates there is a row of holes. These holes are used for positioning workpiece steel plate of the machine of edge beveling;
1) For loading the workpiece steel plate into the machine for edge milling, first the workpiece is put onto these cover plates. And based on specific width of workpiece, select the proper locating hole, then insert a pin shaft into this hole;
2) In this way, the workpiece is clamped tightly into extension racks of the machine for beveling on sheet metal;
3) Start on hydraulic system of the machine for edge milling operation, oil cylinders act, and drive these cover plates forward, thus in turn driving the workpiece steel plate forward, until the workpiece is sent into worktable of machine;
4) By this time, extract the pin shafts, and begin the job of steel plate edge milling in the Double Heads Long Stroke XBJ and SXBJ series Steel Plate Edge Milling Machine;
5) When the operation of welding groove making is finished in the machine for edge beveling on steel plate, the yellow bright cover plates will be extended out from the milled edge of the workpiece;
6) And under act of hydraulic cylinders, the workpiece steel plate will be pulled out automatically from worktable of the big size machine for edge milling on steel plate;
7) In this sequence, one round of steel plate loading and unloading into and out of the Steel Plate End Chamfering Equipment is completed by means of this powerful hydraulic drive assistant loading unit;
8) For daily operation of the Steel Plate Edge Milling Machine, this assistant unit eliminates hidden risk of hand squeeze supposing workpiece steel plate is pushed into the machine of plate edge beveling manually, and relieve operators from cumbersome and tedious task, helping them focusing on more value added work of metal plate chamfering in the machine for edge milling on steel plate .
