Custom Made SXBJ-6 Double Milling Head Plate Edge Milling Machine

A. Several Specific Design and Application of the SXBJ-6 Sheet Metal Plate Edge Milling Machine:

1. The attached pictures reflect a set of Wuxi JACK tailor made SXBJ-6 Double Heads Sheet Metal Plate Edge Miller in custom made color of blackish green, its installation at Wuxi JACK facility, and put into use at customer site;

2. We have taken two consecutive product sections for introducing on the 6000mm long edge milling stroke Edge Chamfering Machine, the SXBJ-6 and XBJ-6 models equipment of sheet metal plate edge beveling, for the convenience of comparison;

3. Among this, the Beyond Capacity XBJ-6 single head Edge Milling Machine of previous one, has different structure against that of the routine product of Sheet Metal Plate Edge Miller, and gains longer valid metal plate edge milling stroke benefitting from it. Such special made equipment for edge milling is installed with one set of milling unit, for fulfilling on welding groove making on sheet metal plates.

B. The Custom Made Points of SXBJ-6 Special Sheet Metal Plate Edge Chamfering Machine of this Section:

1. Color of the SXBJ-6 Sheet Metal Plate Edge Miller:

1) The Plate Edge Miller of this section has obvious different color from that of standard model equipment for sheet metal plate edge milling --- JACK Blue, but rather in the custom made main color of blackish green collocated with bright yellow;

2) The tailor made blackish green color for customer of the Wuxi JACK SXBJ-6 Sheet Metal Plate Edge Milling Equipment: (Fig.1)

2. Mechanical Bed: The Other More Important Custom made Point of this SXBJ-6 Edge Milling Machine:

1) The SXBJ-6 model machine for sheet metal plate edge milling has symmetric cross section of its machine bed, please check attached picture and below photo:

2) Lateral view on symmetric mechanical worktable of the custom made SXBJ-6 Sheet Metal Plate Edge Miller: (Fig.3)

3) As can be observed from the above photo, both sides of the SXBJ-6 model machine for sheet metal plate edge chamfering  worktable are fit with one set of milling unit respectively;

4) Comparatively, the conventional XBJ and SXBJ series Sheet Metal Plate Edge Milling Machine has asymmetric cross structure of single side milling unit installation, and the opposing side is designed for workpiece loading in and out;

C. Function and Task of the Custom Made SXBJ-6 Sheet Metal Plate Edge Miller:

1. Applicable Workpiece for This Custom made SXBJ-6 Edge Milling Machine:

1) This special made equipment for edge milling is mainly used for processing welding groove on both sides of a small width (Usually 500mm ~ 600mm) workpiece steel plate, by means of one stroke job of edge milling on steel plate carried out in the machine;

2) The narrow steel plate that is being edge milled on its both sides simultaneously in the SXBJ-6 special made Edge Milling Machine: (Fig.5)

2. Advantages of the SXBJ-6 Tailor Made Sheet Metal Plate Edge Milling Equipment:

1) Such design on special structure and operation can remove one time operation of loading and clamping workpiece into the Edge Beveling Equipment;

2) In this way, this custom made SXBJ-6 Edge Milling Machine can save cycle time and raise efficiency of edge grooving job at least 50%;

3) Besides, this tailor made Sheet Metal Plate Edge Miller can also be applied for “ordinary” job of edge milling steel plate with “natural” size: Namely, the workpiece has common seen width as conventional XBJ and SXBJ model general purpose Edge Milling Machine;

4) By this time, one side of the milling unit need to be moved to terminal side of the special made Plate Edge Chamfering Machine worktable, and the loading bracket of 1,000mm ~3,000mm width need to be installed at the front end of the machine for edge milling ;

5) In this sense, this custom made SXBJ-6 model machine of edge milling  is a cost effective Sheet Metal Plate Edge Miller, which can fulfil multiple tasks in single set of the equipment for sheet metal plate edge beveling.
