Taking Medium duty Welding Rotator as object, technical characteristics of HGZ series Self Adjusting Standard Welding Roller Bed are listed as below:
For one set of standard Self Adjustable Welding Rotator, there is one set of Welding Roller Bed (Installed with revolving driving motor), and one set of follower (idle) Welding Roller Bed;
a) Each set of Self Adjusting Welding Roller Bed has four pieces of Turning Roll, or eight pieces of Turning Roll in total, for one set of Standard Welding Rotator;
b) Comparatively, one set of Welding Roller Bed in Bolt Adjusting HGK Welding Rotator and Leadscrew Adjusting HLK Welding Rotator has two pieces of Turning Roll. Check below sketches: (Fig.1,2,3)

Bolt Adjusting HGK Welding Rotator
a) For Light duty Welding Rotator and Medium duty Welding Rotator (Heavy duty Welding Rotator excluding), each piece of the Welding Turning Roll has the structure of metallic core covered with rubber shroud, boosting both required rigidity and friction force for the normal running of the Welding Roller Bed, as well as shock absorbing capability: (Fig.4)
b) These Welding Turning Roll are durable and have same service life as the HGZ model Self Adjusting Welding Rotator itself;
Revolving of the driving Welding Roller Bed is realized with A.C. motor drive, which drives two sets of worm gear reducers in phase, with the revolving linear velocity controlled by means of VFD (Variable frequency drive) inverter smoothly;
a) Linear revolving velocity of the workpiece on these HGZ series general purpose Welding Roller Bed is adjustable within the range of 6~60m/hour, or converted into 100~1000mm/min. (Fig.5)
b) This linear revolving velocity of Welding Turning Roll is the core process control parameter of the Welding Rotator, which can be modulated with turning knob and shown in digital display;
a) As we explained in the product section of “HGZ Standard Fixed Welding Roller Bed Professional Self Adjustable Welding Rotator”, this Welding Roller Bed is called plier shape rack in industry;
b) When loading the workpiece of various sizes and weights onto the HGZ Self Adjusting Welding Rotator, these plier shape racks will make adjustment automatically, accommodating specific diameter of the workpiece: To be specific, swing around its shaft;
a) At its minimum diameter of workpiece, the bottom Turning Roll of all plier shape racks are on the same level of horizontal line: The specific horizontal line differs on tonnage of the Standard Welding Turning Roll;
b) Before putting workpiece onto the Self Adjusting Welding Rotator, first need to check whether its diameter is within the affordable range of the Self Adjusting Welding Roller Bed;
