The tailor made Weld Turning Roller introduced in this product section is just an example of various kinds of Special Made Weld Roller Bed, to demonstrate the extensive application of standard and special made Welding Turning Roll in industry;
2) Which kind of Workpiece to be Welded in this Tilting Welding Rolling Bed:
a) In production industry there are some special workpieces need to be welded, for example: Light weight of irregular shape pipe flange as shown in below sketch: (Fig.1)
b) To attain ideal welding position of 45°fillet for such kind of workpiece on the Weld Roller Bed, custom made fixtures, including tailor made special Welding Rotator and other supporting mechanisms, need to be developed.
2. Structure and Features of the Special Made Weld Roller Bed with Integral Tilting Function:
1) Exterior Feature of the Special Made Welding Rotator:
Judging from its appearance, this exemplar special made Weld Turning Roller in the attached first picture looks like combination of Welding Positioner and Light duty Welding Rotator;
2) Constructure of the Special Made Weld Roller Bed:
In fact, this special made Welding Turning Roll utilizes tilting function of the Electric Turntable at the lower section of the integrated function Welding Rotator, and Weld Turning Roller revolving function of the Light duty Welding Rotator at the upper section of the equipment, to make up a dedicated Welding Rotator aiming at the 45° fillet welding implemented on pipe flanges;
3) Loading Capacity of the Special Made Weld Turning Roller:
Such kind of Special Made Welding Rotator is confined to light weight. The Welding Rolling Bed shown in the attached picture has 10Ton loading tonnage.
3. Two Critical Motions in the Special Made Weld Turning Roller:
1) Tilting of the Light duty Weld Roller Bed:
a) Integral tilting range of the Light duty Welding Rotator is within the range of 0°~45°;
b) This integral tilting of the Light duty Weld Turning Roller is powered with motor reducer installed at the base of the Special Made Weld Roller Bed, and transmitted with the red color sector gear of the electric drive Turntable;
2) Revolving of the Light duty Weld Turning Roller:
a) Rotation range of the Welding Turning Roll is infinitely 0°~360°, same as the standard Welding Rotator;
b) It is realized with 1 set of custom made Welding Rotator installed at the top surface of the automatic electric Turntable.
4. Adjustment on Two Core Sizes in the Special Made Welding Rotator to Accommodating Changing Size of Workpiece:
1) Changing Center Distance of the Weld Turning Roller for Diameter of Workpiece:
The Light duty Welding Rolling Bed here in this Special Made Welding Rotator is bolt adjusting type. So, it is same as “HLK Standard Roller Bed Stationary Adjustable Welding Rotator by Bolt”;
2) Changing Distance between Driving Section and Idler Section of the Welding Rolling Bed, for Varied Length of Workpiece:
This is done by means of turning the handwheel at the lateral size of the electric Turntable, so that distance between the driving segment and idler segment of the Weld Roller Bed in this tailor made Welding Rotator can be changed by hand, adapting to varied length of the workpiece: (Fig.2)

1) The ingenuity of this Special Made Welding Rotator is it integrated two original individual equipment of Weld Turning Roller and Electric Turntable into one integral equipment, making this Welding Rotator gaining additional degree of freedom;
