1.     Comparison among HLK Adjusting Welding Rotator by Bolt, with HGZ and HGK Welding Rotator:

The HLK series Adjusting Welding Turning Roll by Bolt, covers the widest range of tonnage and practical use in the entire product line of welding rotators. A brief comparison among the three broad product groups of HGZ, HGK and HLK Weld Roller Bed is as below:

b) Weak Point: Relative narrow scope of Welding Turning Roll loading capacity: 5Ton ~ 250Ton for standard models;

a) Strong point: Quick and convenient operation; Continuous (stepless) adjusting center distance of Welding Turning Roll;

b) Weak Point: Confined to small loading weight of the Weld Roller Bed: Up to 60Ton;

3)     HLK series Adjusting Weld Roller Bed by Bolt:  (Fig.3)

Strong point: Extensive range of loading tonnage capacity: Standard models of the HLK Welding Rotator is up to 1000Ton, and special made HLK Welding Rotator is up to 2000Ton;

Weak Point: Relative slow adjusting process on center distance of the Welding Turning Roll; Center distance change is in grades, not stepless as in the HGK leadscrew adjusting Welding Rotator;

So, each type of the welding rotator has its upside and downside. For workpiece heavier than 250Ton, which are often seen at projects of Oil Tank, Pipeline, and Offshore Tower, etc. only the HGK Adjusting Welding Turning Roll by Bolt can take on the job.

1)      The HLK models standard type Adjusting Welding Rotator by Bolt represents fundamental design of this sub division of the product, and has the broadest use in practical condition. In general, it is a kind of stationary Welding Turning Roll;

2)      The special made Adjusting Welding Rotator by Bolt covers HLK model travelable Welding Rotator, HLK model Anti Drifting Welding Rotator, and other types of customer designated function added;

3.     Working Principle of HLK series Adjusting Welding Turning Roll by Bolt:

1)      Working Mode of the HLK Welding Rotator:

With the help of frictional force between workpiece and leading section of Welding Turning Roll, the HLK Welding Rotator put into rotation of the cylindrical workpiece, fulfilling circumferential welding on the external surface of the workpiece;

2)      Working Velocity of the HLK Weld Roller Bed:

a)       Welding speed of the workpiece, which is the rotation linear speed of the Welding Turning Roll, is controlled by means of adjusting revolving speed of the driving section Weld Roller Bed: (Fig.5)

b)      This revolving speed in turn is controlled with A.C. inverter, or at early stage of the Welding Rotator, electro magnetic controller, with an operating contrivance such as turning knob, and shown in digital display. This makes operation of the Weld Roller Bed operators less laborious and more convenient and intuitive;
