1) This section of HGK series Welding Roller Bed Adjusting with Leadscrew is with traveling motion. Please check attached photos;
2) As we introduced in the product section of standard version of Welding Turning Roller Adjusting with Leadscrew, there are many variants on the basis of basic design and configuration of the HGK Welding Rotator, to meet the specific demand of certain aspect from customer;
3) And, as to the Traveling Welding Roller Bed itself, there are also several kinds of specific design in the Welding Rotator, which differs from each other in some ways.
Here we just use this specific one of Electric Welding Rotator as generalization on the sub product group of motor drive Traveling Welding Roller Bed:
From attached pictures we can see:
a) Traveling stroke of this Traveling Welding Turning Roller is confined within range of platform. It can be viewed a working station;
b) There are limit switches installed at both ends of Traveling stroke of the Welding Roller Bed;
a) Guiderails are fit at both sides of the platform, with limit switches at its extreme position;
b) This means, movement of the Welding Roller Bed in this Welding Rotator is double drive;
The driving Welding Roller Bed is stationary in this kind of Welding Rotator, fixed at starting point of traveling stroke;
a) The Idler (Follower) Welding Roller Bed is travelable in the Welding Rotator, powered with motor reducer: (Fig.3)
b) So, in HGK Traveling Welding Rotator Adjusting with Leadscrew, both the driving Welding Roller Bed and the follower Welding Roller Bed are installed with motor: The motor at the driving Welding Roller Bed is for driving revolving of the Turning Roller, while the motor at the idler Welding Roller Bed is for driving the idler into movement;
Usually this is constant moving speed, for example, 3m/min. Variable speed of travelable Welding Turning Roller is also available if necessary;
a) Traveling of the Idler Welding Roller Bed is powered with brake motor. To have the Traveling Welding Turning Roller stopped at certain location on the guiderail of the Welding Rotator, just have the braking unit of the brake motor acts: (Fig.4)
b) Meanwhile, we have a manual spanner to lock the Welding Turning Roller in position. That gives double insurance on traveling management of the Idler Welding Roller Bed in the Welding Rotator. See above picture;
The platform of this Electric Welding Rotator is welded into an integral one with checkered plate and section steels, and secured into workshop floor with anchor bolts. It has strong rigidity and strength;
a) Such special design Welding Roller Bed Adjusting with Leadscrew is often applied in personalized projects, which involves complicated formation of various equipment;
b) For this purpose, the control system of the Traveling Welding Rotator has open interface, for the convenience of future expansion on linkage with other equipment, such as Welding Manipulator, and or Welding Positioner.
This automatic movable Welding Roller Bed is for performing assignments on workpieces of varying length, or working with Welding Manipulator, to weld internal and external longitudinal seam on the cylindrical parts (Tube, pipe, etc.), or fulfil other special assigned task of the Welding Rotator;
Operation of these Traveling Welding Turning Roller is realized with operating panel on control board, foot pedal switch, and remote control: (Fig.6)
