T Beam is a kind of important raw material in Steel Structure and Shipbuilding Industry. Unlike H Beam, which has 2 types of hot rolled type and welding type; There is only one type of welding T Beam, which is produced from T Beam Production Line, or T Beam Fabrication Machine:
Customers of T Beam Production Line come from two industries of Steel Structure and Shipbuilding, which has certain different requirement on specifications of produced T Beam, and hence production process technology:
In Shipbuilding, the welding seam should have higher impact value, which is accomplished with CO2 gas shielded welding;
a) Besides, after plate cut from CNC Strip Plate Cutting Machine, and before assembling and tack welding in T Beam Assembly Machine, the end plate (Flange) and stiffener (Web) should have its edge rounded and trimmed, in Edge Rounding Machine;
b) This is because that, T Beam used in Shipbuilding usually work in humid environment, which should be strengthened for its painting adhesive capability;
Size of T Beam used in Shipbuilding is somewhat smaller than those for Steel Structure: The stiffener height (Web) is usually in the range of 300mm to 1000mm, thickness 8mm to 20mm; End plate (Flange) is in the range of 100mm to 500mm, thickness 10mm to 40mm;
In Shipbuilding Facilities, T Beam Production Line and T Beam Fabrication Machine are applied solely for making T Beam.

In practice, there are two general ways of T Beam manufacture adopted by customers, either in the way of T Beam Production Line, or T Beam Fabrication Machine:
1) This is traditional way of T Beam production, and still take fairly large share nowadays. It is in majority used in Large Scale Shipbuilding Facility, for making T Beam in batch with large volume;
2) A complete T Beam Production Line is composed of CNC Strip Plate Cutting Machine, and Edge Rounding Machine, T Beam Assembly Machine, and T Beam Welding Machine;
3) Characteristic of T Beam Production Line lies at its output: There are usually 5~6 pieces of T Beam to be produced at the same time.

1) The LBA10 T Beam Welding Machine has the structure of traveling gantry frame, installed with 5 to 6 pieces of welding torch and its carriage. So, similar to Strip Plate Cutting Machine, the T Beam Welding Machine can complete welding on several pieces of T Beam at the same time;
2) The working speed of T Beam Welding Machine, which is welding speed for T Beam fabrication, is controlled with VFD (Variable frequency drive) and displayed in real time;
