1. Shown in the below sketch, H Beam to be produced in this machine stands in upright orientation. Accordingly, welding is performed in flat position: (Fig.2)
2. This is the reason why Integral function H Beam Welding Machine focuses on producing light to medium duty welding H Beam and T Beam (Refer to: The welding seam on finished workpieces have toe size of 8~ 12mm);
3. The second feature in working style of the machine is: H Beam and T Beam is produced from steel plates with passing through of the machine: The first time pass through is fabricated into T Beam; The second time pass through is fabricated into H Beam. This is the reason that, why the machine is also named as 3 in 1 Pull Through H Beam Welder;
4. Welding Modes: Over 90% of applicating cases of the Integral Function H Beam Welding Machine is with SAW (Submerged arc welding): The finished H Beam flange and web plate thickness is 6mm ~ 40mm; Under 10% customer choose GMAW CO2 gas shielded welding, for producing 3mm ~ 6mm plate thickness workpieces.

1. PHJ series: For producing both symmetric and asymmetric cross section welding T Beam/ H Beam/ I Beam, with SAW welding;
2. ZHJ series: For specifically producing symmetric cross section welding T Beam/ H Beam/ I Beam, with SAW welding;
3. Light duty ZHJ series: For producing light duty small thickness symmetric cross section welding T Beam/ H Beam/ I Beam, with CO2 welding.
1) Suitable Workpieces:
a) Shown in below sketch, the disparity between PHJ and ZHJ is the cross section shape of finished T Beam and H Beam: Both sides of flange has equal or unequal length or not: (Fig.5)
b) The 2nd characteristic of PHJ model machine: T Beam and H Beam has larger size and heavier weight than finished H Beam from the ZHJ model machine. Below technical parameters table shows on PHJ and ZHJ difference;
2) Welding Mode: Submerged Arc Welding in flat position;
3) Assembly Way: One side of H Beam web is with hydraulic cylinder drive, the opposing side is with manual leadscrew transmission: This is major difference from ZHJ series 3 in 1 Pull Through H Beam Welder;
4) Standard Models: Based on finished web height of finished T Beam and H Beam, the PHJ series machine has three standard models of PHJ15/ PHJ18/ PHJ20.
1) Finished Workpieces: Welding T Beam / H Beam in symmetric cross section: (Fig.6)
Compared with finished workpieces from PHJ models, the welding T Beam and H Beam delivered from ZHJ series is slightly smaller and lighter. Check below technical parameters;
2) Welding Mode: Flat position Submerged Arc Welding;
3) Assembly Way: Different from PHJ models 3 in 1 Pull Through H Beam Welder, here flange and web fitting up is implemented with: Both sides of H Beam web is automatic in phase assembly, driven with hydraulic cylinders;
4) Three Standard Models: ZHJ15/ ZHJ18/ ZHJ20.
1) Workpiece: Below sketch gives example on working parts to be produced from light duty Integral Function H Beam Welding Machine: Its cross section sizes are much smaller than conventional H Beam: Web and flange thickness; Web height; Flange width: (Fig.6)
2) Significance: In practical application, there is fairly percentage of such small H Beam;
3) Welding Mode: This is the most fundamental difference of Light duty models Integral Function H Beam Welding Machine compared with PHJ and ZHJ series: Adopt with small current CO2 Gas Shielded GMAW. Because traditional SAW has too large welding current for making small plate thickness of 6~ 14mm;
a) Light duty machine is sibling product of ZHJ models: H Beam flange and web are fit up in the way of: Both sides of web are synchronous automatic hydraulic drive and leadscrew pushing;
b) The overall height of Light duty model machine is around 500mm shorter than PHJ and ZHJ series machine;
