As you can check from the right hand design sketch of Wuxi JACK LBS30 model (With 3 ton loading capacity of Welding Turntable), the main components of the welding equipment include:
1. Horizontal oriented L arm, which is installed on the uptight standing rectangular column in perpendicular;
1) This upright column is main trunk of L Structure Welding Positioner. It has large size cross section of rectangular outline. It is fabricated from high strength carbon steel and section steels;
2) At its bottom, this upright column is installed with 2 pieces of “long feet”, which are secured firmly into workshop floor, keeping balance of the entire set of L frame Lift type Welding Table;
3) The horizontal L arm and upright column are perpendicular with each other, forming the shape of “L”, which is vividly shown in the drawing. This is where the name of “L Structure Welding Positioner” got from;
4) The horizontal orientated Welding Turntable is assembled onto front end of the L Arm, with degree of freedom: 0° ~ 360° rotation. The L arm can be revolved in the other 0° ~ 360° in the air, giving the 3rd motion axis of Welding Turntable. And welding points on workpieces can be adjusted conveniently to ideal orientation;
3. Firm Standing: The 2 pieces of long and sturdy holding racks, “long feet”, which maintain the total weight of L Structure Welding Positioner and its secured workpiece, into workshop floor;
4. The hydraulic oil cylinder system for driving up and down L arm, Welding Turntable, and structural workpieces;
5. The A.C. motors for driving 0° ~ 360° vertical revolve in the air, and horizontal 0° ~ 360°revolve of L arm and Welding Turntable, for managing to ideal position, so as to acquire welding operation performance;
6. L arm up and down guidance: The 4 pieces of heavy duty precise linear guiderail, being assembled at internal faces of upright columns.
1. Criterion: Classification on this three axis welding positioning equipment is on the basis of the max. expected size and weight of working parts;
2. Model: The recommended models are from LBS10 to LBS50, corresponded with from 1 ton to 5 tons loading tonnage of Welding Turntable and workpiece. In practical use, majority is in the range of 1 ton to 3 ton. For example, LBS10, LBS12, LBS20, and LBS30.

Just as you can check from the left hand photo and design sketch, this welding positioning equipment looks like a set of conventional 2 axis Welding Positioner with adjustable “long neck”:
1) The Welding Turntable is installed onto vertical mechanical main frame by means of detachable bolts. There are three or more grades of adjustable vertical positions, for fitting and securing these tightening bolts, with 300mm interval between every two adjacent grades: In other words, the total adjustable height scope of Welding Turntable in the welding positioner is 900mm;
2) Judging from these descriptions, you can draw conclusion that, such design of manual managing Lift type Welding Table has the similar adjustment way as HLK series Welding Roller Rotator. The difference only lies in position adjusting direction and specific specifications of the two types of welding positioning equipment.
1) Loading Capacity: This type welding positioning equipment is niche product of Lift type Welding Table. Due to characteristic of its structure confinement, only light to medium weight working parts is suitable to be welded: Usually 1 ton to 5 tons;
2) Applicating Scenario: Besides, because its way of Welding Turntable height adjustment is relatively inconvenient and time consuming, usually this structure of Rotary Welding Positioner is applicable for welding on working parts with limited variation of size, and relatively large volume in each grade, which means, batch production is applicable here.
