Straightening Principle of Vertical Flange H Beam Straightening Machinery

For motor drive and hydraulic drive structures of the machine, its straightening principle can be illustrated in below 4 sketches:

1. The 1st sketch: General Straightening Principle of I H Beam Flange Straightening Machine:

1) It is three points being subjected to force, implemented in a confined space straightening cavity, forming squeezing effect on H Beam flange;
2) Acting Element: The bottom installed solid straightening roller is larger than the 2 pieces of up installed straightening rollers. During straightening, this bottom large roller revolves without elevation, transmitting on sending forward of H Beam, which goes through the entire set of I H Beam Flange Straightening Machine;
3) Process Control: The straightening stroke, corresponding to downward stroke movement of the 2 pieces of upper straightening rollers, generate sufficient squeezing force onto flange of H Beam;

2. The 2nd sketch: Straightening Source in Motor Drive HYJ Series I H Beam Flange Straightening Machine:

This gives illustration on where does the straightening power come from: 2 sets of 1.5kW A.C. motor. The motors are installed in symmetry right above the 2 pieces of upper straightening rollers;

3. The 3rd sketch: Straightening Source in Medium duty Hydraulic Drive YTJ-40/50 I H Beam Straightening Machinery:

This gives denotation on the straightening power source in YTJ40 and YTJ50 models: 2 pieces of tailor made oil cylinders. The oil cylinders are installed in symmetry right above the 2 pieces of upper positioned straightening rollers;

Work Manner of I H Beam Flange Straightening Machine

Continued from the previous segment on straightening principle, in HYJ models and YTJ models, the straightening theory is carried out in the way of:

1. No.1 Photo: Straightening Cell in Vertical I H Beam Flange Straightening Machine:

1) Roller “1” corresponds with the bottom position straightening roller, and Rollers “2” and “3” correspond with the 2 pieces of upper assembled straightening rollers;
2) Rollers “4/ 5/ 6/ 7” serve as fixture, for supporting and holding on the upright web of H Beam during straightening procedure;
3) General Structure: Such straightening mechanism is applied in both motor drive and hydraulic drive models machine;

1) Accommodating varied H Beam Flange Width: The distance between the left and right two pairs of holding rollers is adjusted manually by turning handwheel;
2) Guidance: During adjustment, the 2 pieces of shaft boxes slide along slotting table of mechanical main frame;
3) Straightening Driving Force: The downward pressing of the 2 pieces of upper straightening rollers, which is the most important process control for straightening operation, is driven with 2 sets of 1.5kW A.C. motor;

3) Accommodating on varied H Beam Flange Width: The distance between left and right holding rollers are driven with oil cylinders. This is the unique configuration in heavy duty YTJ-60/80 heavy duty models.

3) So, straightening station is not bottom neck in the process flow of H Beam Production Line.

 

3. Machine Quotation on I H Beam Flange Straightening Machine:
