1. Raw Material Loading: 2 pieces of long narrow steel strips (As web and flange of H Beam) are loaded onto input conveyor of the machine;
2. T Beam Fabrication: The loaded flange and web are fit up/ clamped/ welded/ straightened into T Beam, and sent out of the machine by way of output conveyor;
1) The 2nd piece of flange is put onto input conveyor of machine;
2) The fabricated T Beam is flipped 180° top and bottom, and loaded onto input conveyor of the machine. The edge of T Beam web coincides with middle line of the 2nd piece of flange;
3) In this way, H Beam comes into structure, and got strengthened with hydraulic manipulators deployed on input conveyor;
1) In this way, the H Beam is assembled, welded, and straightened into finished effect;
2) Summing up, workpieces pass through the machine in 3 steps of: Fitting up (Assembly)/ welding/ straightening in a row. This is meaning of the machine name “3 in 1 H Beam Assembly Welding Straightening Machine” get from.
Based on sizes and cross section outlines of finished H Beam, Wuxi JACK 3 in 1 H Beam Machine can be divided into 3 broad groups of:
1. PHJ series: For fabricating on welding T Beam and H Beam, with flange thickness in the range of 6 ~ 40mm, and cross section in symmetric and or asymmetric shape;
2. ZHJ series: For fabricating on welding T Beam and H Beam, with flange thickness also in the range of 6~40mm, but with cross section of symmetric shape only;
3. Light duty ZHJ series: For fabricating on small size and small thickness welding T Beam and H Beam, flange thickness in the range of 6 ~ 20mm.

2) Welding Technique Adopted:
a) Automatic control large current SAW (Submerged arc welding) in flat position;
b) Welding consumables: Φ2.5mm ~ Φ4mm solid wire and welding flux;
This is the main difference between PHJ and ZHJ series machines: In PHJ models, fitting up on flanges with web is in semi-automatic mode: One side of H Beam is driven with oil cylinders, and the other side is pushed manually by means of turning handwheel;
4) Standard Models: Based on web height of finished H Beam, the PHJ series has three standard models of PHJ15/ PHJ18/ PHJ20, for delivering welding T Beam and H Beam with web height of 1500mm/ 1800mm/ 2000mm respectively.
1) Finished Workpieces: ZHJ series is the later product following PHJ series. It is specifically focused on fabricating symmetric cross section T Beam/ H Beam. This kind of H Beam has majority use in steel structure field;
a) ZHJ series also adopts with flat position SAW (Submerged arc Welding), with one time pass of welding on H Beam;
b) So, finished welding seam is smaller than that of H Beam produced from H Beam Gantry Welding Machine, which has multiple passes of 45° fillet SAW Welding;
3) Assembly Technique: Fitting up flanges with web is fully automatic and more fast speed: Both sides of H Beam are in phase hydraulic drive and leadscrew transmission;
4) Standard Models: It has also three standard models of ZHJ15/ ZHJ18/ ZHJ20.
1) When Need Light duty Models Machine: Below hand making sketch gives example on small H Beam to be produced from light duty machine: Its flange and web thickness is half of H Beams delivered from PHJ and ZHJ series, around 15mm to 20mm: (Fig.2)
This is main difference between light duty and PHJ/ ZHJ models machines: The light duty models adopt with CO2 Gas Shielded GMAW welding, instead of large welding current SAW;
This function unit works in the exact same manner as ZHJ series equipment: Both sides of H Beam is assembled from automatic control in phase running of alignment rollers;
4) Common Seen Models of Light Duty Machines: In strict sense, light duty 3 in 1 H Beam Machine is special made product based on customer demand. Up to now, one of the frequently selected models is ZHJ5010.
