1. Applicable Workpieces: This Special Made Welding Positioner was developed for being used to fabricate on small to medium diameters pipes, elbows and similar structures of workpieces. Below is illustration on typical workpieces of the welding equipment: (Fig.4)
2. Operation: Such kind of pipe elbow working parts can be 0°~ 360° rotated and 0°~ 120° tilted for its welding operation, which can be realized on this welding positioner. The diameters of pipe elbows can also be managed.
Please check the right hand design sketch on structure of this special design Turning Welding Table. PR models Pipe Rotator Welding Positioner is combination of Welding Roller Rotator and Rotary Weld Positioner. It has three degrees of freedom:
1) Work Principle: On the stationary standing machine frame work table and welding roller bed, there are 2 pairs of welding turning roll, which support working parts and drive it into 0°~ 360° revolve. This is welding speed of the Pipe Rotator Welding Positioner, which is adjustable with variable frequency drive, controlled with A.C. inverter;
2) Position Change: Besides, the entire welding mechanism can also be tilted with the range of-45°~ +45°, so as to acquire optimum welding orientation for operators;
3) Workpiece Clamp: During working of the Pipe Rotator Welding Positioner, to hold the workpiece firmly and prevent it from skidding, there is a pair of overhead welding turning roll, which moves downward based on diameter of the workpieces pipe elbow. This is motor drive also;
4) Specifications: Besides, the entire set of PR model Pipe Rotator Welding Positioner swing in the range of -45°~ +45° under motor drive. This is the reason we classify this product into the family of Rotary Weld Positioner. In certain respect, it has something in common with another Wuxi JACK featured welding equipment: HGK Down Pressure type Welding Rotator adjustable by Leadscrew.
Based on applicable diameters of pipe elbows, this special design pipe elbow welding equipment has two specifications of PR24 and PR40, which is used for fabricating on working parts up to Φ800mm and Φ1200mm diameter respectively.
Below are technical specifications of standard models PR24 and PR40. For diameters out of these ranges, we can deliver custom made models for customers.
1. The Applicable Workpieces: The top one photo at left hand gives one of the typical workpieces to be welded on this Special Made Welding Positioner: Light to medium weight electric components with long length, such as cover of electric transformer;
Based on special types of working parts, this Rotary Weld Positioner should meet the demand of:
1) Larger area Turning Welding Table in the shape of square, so that the two pieces of “V” shape welding fixture can be installed on it;
2) There should be a deep pit excavated into workshop floor, ahead of the Special Made Welding Positioner, so that there will not be conflict between the large size workpiece and workshop floor, during revolve and tilt of Turning Welding Table and workpiece;
3) Special designed workpiece welding fixture on the surface of Turning Welding Table;
4) The interlock between revolve and tilt of Workpiece: Only when the Turning Welding Table is at horizontal flat position can it be tilted, and only when it at vertical position can it be revolved. This fully protects on intact condition of welding equipment and workpieces.
1. Applicable Workpieces: The working parts to be welded to this type of Welding Positioner should have long length, and regular distributed welding seam. So, its 0°~ 360° revolve can finish fabrication of the workpieces.
1) This special designed welding equipment can be viewed as a set of fixed height stationary Head and Tail Welding Positioner, composed of two sets of single axis vertical revolve Turning Welding Table;
a) There are no ground fitting rails connecting the two sets of single axis upright revolve Weld Positioner. It can be very convenient to move any one of the two sets, or both sets when necessary, based on workpieces sizes;
b) The two sets of single axis welding equipment can be operated together in phase, or work individually, giving more flexibility on its daily operation arrangement.

These working parts may come from any one of the manufacturing industries, such as Precise Instrument, Electrical Equipment, Aviation, etc.;
