This is main trunk of the machine, mainly composed of:
1) Horizontal fixed stationary base bed --- Corresponds with X axis end face milling stroke;
2) Motor drive horizontal move upright column --- Corresponds with Y axis end face milling stroke;
1) This is the core working element of the machine, which directly determines finished effect, and end facing efficiency;
a) X axis along horizontal direction;
b) Y axis movement along vertical direction;
c) Z axis 0°~45° angular swing;
This unit is especially useful for light and medium duty models equipment, which guarantees on reliable and firm end face milling operation in ordinary and CNC End Face Milling Machine;
These include:
1) Heavy duty precise linear guiderail for milling head X and Y axis movement;
2) Lubricating system for transmission units and milling head;
3) Stainless steel cascading covers for protection on horizontal machine bed;
4) Operating pendant;
5) Upright leadscrew transmission…, etc.
The above 1st photo shows control theory:
1) The lefthand CNC system is central controller of the entire machine, which sends out commands to, and receives feedback signals from execution units, during end face milling operation;
2) The middle 2 sets of servo driver are communication interface between “Brain” (CNC) and “Arms and Legs” (Servo motor and milling mechanism) of the CNC Pipe I H Beam End Facing Machine: One for controlling X axis (Horizontal) and one for controlling Y axis (Vertical) movement of milling head, which send out the displacement signal to servo motors;
3) The right hand 2 sets of servo motors are executing units of the machine, which are equipped with encoders for detecting on actual position of facer blades on milling head;
4) Control and Detection: During operation of the machine, based on shape and size of workpiece cross section, CPU of CNC controller calculates on and convert position signals into binary command, and in turn send to servo driver of servo motors, and make analysis based on actual position of facer blade.
1) The above 2nd and 3rd photos indicate on CNC operating interface of the machine. Operator can select proper milling program from library embedded in the CNC, and key in the dimension data of working parts;
2) For complicated workpieces, the original file of working part can be copied into the CNC controller directly, and CNC controller will convert it into executing program, which will be implemented in the CNC End Face Milling Machine;
3) Real Time Detecting on Milling: During operation, interface screen of CNC controller will display real time data of machining trace happened in the machine, and operator can observe on progress of end facing operation, which is implemented in the CNC End Face Milling Machine. You can also check the working process of the machine from the previous segment of working video;
4) Actual Working Site: The above 4th photo was taken on a piece of typical workpiece which is suitable for being machined in Wuxi JACK CNC Pipe Beam End Face Milling Machine.

2) Specification Ranges: Servo motor replaces ordinary A.C. motor for driving milling head during end face milling operation. This is the reason that, CNC End Face Milling Machine is confined to light to medium duty of equipment models;

4) Working Speed Management: With adoption of CNC controller, the original A.C. inverter is not necessary in electrical control system. Working speed is controlled with CNC controller;
