1) The first photo denotes the typical application site of LHC model Column I Beam Submerged Arc Welding Machine: This model is basically for being applied in automatic H Beam Production Line;
2) As explained in the product category of the SAW I Beam Welding Equipment, although in theory LHC can be used as individual machine, in actual practice this is very rare the case: (Fig.1)
Both being applied as dedicated H Beam Welding Machine for welding H Beam production, there exist Common Point and Difference between Gantry type (LHAZ model, LHAC model) and (LHC model) Column I Beam Welding Equipment:
i. Both LHC and LHA H Beam Gantry Welding Machine perform SAW on H Beam in the form of machine body travelling along the rail, and the workpiece H Beam being kept fixed during welding process: (Fig.2)
ii. Both the two I Beam Welding Equipment weld the H Beam in the position of 45° fillet welding, as shown in the above sketch;
Including SAW power supply, wire feeder, flux recovery, and arc tracing unit are exactly the same type and specification between LHA and LHC Column H Beam Welding Machine: (Fig.3)
Including parameters (Welding current, welding voltage, welding velocity), are the same for same specification of H Beam in LHA and Column H Beam Welding Machine;
d) For this reason, operators who work on the LHC model Column I Beam SAW Machine can shift his duty to work on gantry type LHA H Beam Gantry Welding Machine without any problem;
e) For producing welding H Beam, both kinds of SAW H Beam Welding Machine need to work together with the previous step of the H Beam Assembly machine, and next step of H Beam Straightening machine. And the Matching Assembly and Straightening machines are the same as well for LHA and LHC I Beam SAW Machine;
i. The half open column style of machine body (open structure) allows for free extension of H Beam along the rail, so there is no model variation in the LHC automatic Column I Beam Submerged Arc Welding Machine ---only one LHC to accomplish “One size fitting for all” of welding H Beam: (Fig.4)
ii. Comparatively, due to the enclosed frame in LHA H Beam Gantry Welding Machine, there are series of models (LHA4Z, LHA5Z, LHA55Z, LHA4C, LHA5C) to cater for varying sizes of H Beam;
b) Welding Station Quantity: One welding station and one rail for one set of LHC Column I Beam Welding Equipment, compared with two welding stations in the case of LHA H Beam Gantry Welding Machine;
c) Hence, quantity of the above mentioned outsourced units for one set of machine is different: Two sets of each kind for LHA gantry H Beam Welding Machine, and one set of each kind for LHC Column I Beam SAW Machine;
i. For Column style LHC I Beam SAW Machine, operator stands on the moving column and trolley, and need not to walk: (Fig.5)
ii. For gantry style LHA H Beam Welding Machine, operator stands on the floor and walks along with traveling of the gantry;
i. For gantry style LHA I Beam Submerged Arc Welding Machine, one set of the machine can work individually (Which means customer purchase one set is fine);
ii. While for LHC Column H Beam Welding Machine, in an automatic H Beam production line, this equipment comes in four sets (Correspond with the four welding seams in a piece of H Beam), which means customer need to purchase four sets of LHC Column H Beam Welding Machine for one line;
f) Conceivably, price of one set of LHC Column H Beam Welding Machine is obviously lower than that of one set of LHA H Beam Gantry Welding Machine, around 60% of the LHA.
