1. Function: This special design and made Welding Roller Bed is for carrying out external circumferential welding on cylindrical parts with weight up to 20 Ton, in top level of synchronization and accuracy;
2. Design sketch on Wuxi JACK HLK20 model 20 Ton loading capacity Leadscrew Adjusting Weld Turning Roller: (Fig.1)
This 20 Ton loading capacity welding equipment is composed of:
1) 1 set of driving segment Welding Roller Bed;
2) 2 sets of follower segment Welding Roller Bed;
3) Manual operating leadscrew moving unit;
4) Electric control system;
1) Surrounding Angle: For the purpose of being adaptable for revolving of different diameters workpiece, the center distance between the two pieces of Weld Turning Roller is manually adjusted by hand, making good contact between workpiece and the Weld Turning Roller, ensuring the surrounding angle of the workpiece within the range of 45° ~ 110°;
2) For the two pieces of Weld Turning Roller on the driving segment of Welding Roller Bed, one is of fixed type, and the other can be modulated its horizontal position by means of manual turning on handwheel of leadscrew;
1) During working period, the revolve of the two groups of Weld Turning Roller is driven with motor reducer, being led with a piece of high strength precise six edge rod (This is where the name of the six edge rod Welding Rotator got from);
2) The in phase revolve of workpiece both sides is transmitted with worm gear, which makes the High Precision Weld Turning Roller into continuous and infinite revolve, and in turn leading workpiece into revolve;
1) Welding Velocity: Linear velocity of the above-mentioned workpiece revolve is controlled stepless (continuously) by means of A.C. inverter, within the range of 100 ~ 1000 mm/min., modulated based on welding technology on site;
2) For movement and relocation of this welding equipment, there is special purpose hoisting holes in the pedestal of the Welding Roller Bed;
1) Material and Performance: The Weld Turning Roller is fully metallic type, with strong points of good hardness, pressure resistance, abrasion proof, and long using life: (Fig.2)
2) Dimension: The Weld Turning Roller has diameter of ø350mm, side width of 200mm, which are applicable for holding steel pipe with diameter in the range of ø220mm ~ ø600mm.
The primary motor reducer equipped with this series of High Precision Leadscrew Adjusting Welding Rotator is worm gear reducer, compared with the cycloidal gear reducer in conventional standard HGK Leadscrew Adjusting Welding Roller Bed. It has better performance of heat radiation;
So, transmission is in the form of worm gear reducer driving another set of worm gear reducer, composing 2 stages of worm gear reducer;

The manual operating handle bar in this high precision weld machine tool replaces the handwheel in the conventional models of HGK series leadscrew adjusting models, which features in larger torque of turning, making adjustment process more efficient;
