B. Category and Models of H Beam End Facing Machine:

1.  Classification on H Beam End Facing Machine based on Workpiece Height:

1) Models cover from DX0810 for 800mm height and 1000mm width, to DX6080 for 6000mm height and 8000mm width;

2) The often selected models include DX15xx (DX1520/ DX1530/ DX1540) and DX12xx (DX1215/ DX1218) applied in Steel Structure H Beam and BOX production;

3) DX20xx (DX2030/ DX2040) and DX30xx (DX3030/ DX3050) models are often selected by customers;

2. Classification on H Beam End Face Milling Machine with Control Style:

There are 2 general types of: A.C. inverter control and CNC control:

1) The inverter control is for workpieces with regular 90° right angle cross section: H / BOX / T Beam/ Cross Beam;

2) The CNC control is applicable for any kind of cross section workpieces:

C. Structure and Main Units of H Beam End Face Milling Machine:

One set of the DX model machine is mainly composed of:

1. Horizontal base bed: During work, upright column moves forward and backward along base bed, fulfilling X direction end facing operation;

2. Upright Column: During work, milling carriage moves up and down along in vertical direction, fulfilling Y direction end facing;

3. Milling Head Carriage of H Beam End Face Milling Machine:

1) This is the core unit, and installed on the upright column, by means of installation board;

2) There is lubricating pump installed on the milling carriage, performing lubrication on the milling head movement guiderails;

3) Wuxi JACK milling head has 0°~45° swing angle, this is the exclusive capability of Wuxi JACK machine. It can be used for oblique face structure members end face milling;

4. Facer Blade: This is consumables of milling head. It is international standard and universal model, and easily available in the market across the globe;

5. Mechanical Feeding System of H Beam End Facing Machine:

1) Milling head movement along X and Y directions are driven with Y series A.C. motors;

2) Horizontal movement is transmitted with gear and rack;

3) Vertical movement is transmitted with leadscrew;

4) Both direction X and Y axis movement are guided with heavy duty precise linear guiderail;

8. Guard Unit for Protecting Guiderail: End face milling operation generates scraps and fragments. To protect critical units of end face milling head and guiderail, both directions of guiderails are protected with scalable covers.
