2) Features: What distinguishes large models machine from other models lies at: Its big dimension and hence wide variety of variations in mechanical structure and function units; As well as combination of advanced function and high precision;

1) Edge Milling Stroke: Different models of machine differs on the basis of edge milling stroke. Max. effective working stroke of 12,000mm and above products can be classified as large models;

SXBJ& FXBJ& GFXBJ series large model machine are basically applied in the field of Civil Project (Bridge Construction)/ Port Machinery/ Shipbuilding, etc..
1) Although in theory, large model machine can also be equipped with single milling head, in practical use this is rarely adopted;
2) The reason is, in daily operation, solitary head configuration has too low production efficiency for edge milling operation, especially when it is necessary to have large plate welding groove cutting on both top and bottom edges of workpiece;
1) Workpieces of large models machine are fairly big size, large thickness and heavy weight metal plates, especially material of carbon steel plate;
2) For example, for GFXBJ-23 model, the largest single piece of steel plate can be: 23m length, 4m width, 200mm thickness, and 145 Ton weight. So, supporting hydraulic unit is a standard and requisite function for operation of the large size machine for edge milling;
3) Wuxi JACK Unique Owned Unit: Correspondingly, the pushing in and pulling out of huge steel plate into and out of the large size machine, should not be manipulated by hand, which is dangerous and low efficiency. Instead, automatic running hydraulic drive supporting system should be adopted in the large machines. Please see below photo:

1) Requirement: The mechanical structure of large size machine should have property of uniform high strength, with sufficient rigidity. This guarantees on stable working, consistent performance, and high precision of finished workpieces delivered;

1) Demand: Thicker thickness of workpiece steel plate needs higher capacity on large steel plate edge beveling. This can get deeper cutting depth available during edge milling operation;
2) Equipping 9kW/ 11kW Milling Head: So, milling head of higher power 9kW/ 11kW are usually used in Large Edge Milling Machine. In this sense, although in the field of edge milling application, “Small size model machine does not mean light duty”, but “Large model machine usually implicates on heavy duty ones”;
