1. Characteristic: The master photo of this product section reflects on assembling moment of the machine: 2 assemblers were working at both sides of the working table, face to face;
2. It is also true during official running of this special design machine, that 2 pieces of milling head will work at both sides of workpiece, make edge milling face to face at the same time. Shown as below:
The face to face operation in SXBJ-12 Special Plate Edge Milling Machine: (Fig.1)
1) Perform double sides edge milling on strip steel plates with one time stroke operation. In that case, the width of steel plate applicable for the machine is in the range of 300mm to 1000mm. Shown as below:

2) Same as standard models machine, fulfil edge grooving on single side of steel plates. By this time, only one set of milling head is in working, the other side milling head waits in idle status;
4. In whatever function, the machine can fulfil all the standard welding grooves like other standard Edge Milling Machine. Shown as below: (Fig.3)
The distinguished merit of such special design machine can be summarized as high efficiency and easy operation, especially for those workpieces which need both side of edge grooving. Let us assume 2 conditions as below:
1. For steel plates equal to or narrower than 1000mm, it can be edge milled both sides in this special design machine directly, with one time operation;
1) Although it can not be machined at both sides simultaneously in the machine, operator can finish one side edge milling first;
2) Then, without taking off the steel plate from machine, make adjustment on longitudinal position of the steel plate, by just pulling and pushing the steel plate in the direction perpendicular to horizontal worktable;
3) Then, start on milling head at the opposing side of worktable;
4) Comparatively, in conventional standard models machine, operator need to take off the steel plate, and flip it 180°, then load the steel plate into the Plate Edge Grooving Machine the second time.
Although this Special Edge Milling Machine basically works in the same style as remaining standard models, it does have its unique operation noting point, which can be listed as below two main points of:
1) Although this is a double milling heads configured machine, its two sets of milling heads are distributed at both sides of the worktable. So, the milling head can only perform straight and upper beveling. In this sense, it works like a set of single head model;
2) When it is necessary to have lower edge beveling on steel plate, just like the operation in standard single head models machine: Take off the steel plate, then overturn it 180°, then load the steel plate into the machine again for the second time grooving;
3) This is the reason that, when customer decide to choose between this special and standard models Edge Milling Machine, they should not only consider the demand on steel plates both sides grooving, but also types of grooving on each side of workpiece;
1) In standard models machine, it does not exist the problem of steel plate conflicting with milling head. Because material loading in and milling head operation happen at different side of worktable;
2) Comparatively, in this special design machine, both sides of worktable can be material handling and milling operation. So, before steel plate loading in and off the machine, operator need to drive the milling heads to extreme position first, leaving sufficient spatial space for material handling.
