The Z10 T Beam Assembly and Tack Welding machine takes the 3rd step in T Beam production following edge rounding. It has similar working principle and structure as H Beam assembly, but smaller size: Max. height of vertical plate (Stiffener) is 1000mm, compared with Max.1500mm width of web in welding H Beam.
- Z10 Automatic T Beam Assembly and Tack Weld machine is for assembling two pieces of steel plate into
inversed T-shape and strengthen it with CO2 tack welding, making a piece of T Beam coming into being.
1) Please check attached picture. The Z10 T Beam Assembly and Tack Weld machine has main body of gantry
frame assembled onto machine bed;
2) Input conveyor and output conveyor of 10~12m each for conveying raw material into and finished product
out of this T Beam Assembly machine;
3) Hydraulic pump station is put alongside machine body for easy connection and maintenance;
4) 2 sets of CO2 tack welding power supply are put on the overhead platform at the top of gantry, with a
staircase assembled for climbing up the platform;
1) The assembly and tack welding of T Beam with this Z10 automatic T Beam Assembling machine can be
divided into three major steps;
2) The first step is the first-stage assembling (Rough assembling) with the 3 sets of manipulators (Pulling rod
system, please check the 2nd attached picture) installed on the input conveyor;
3) These manipulators (Pulling rod system) are hydraulic oil cylinder driven. It will position and clamp the 2
pieces of steel plates into the shape of inversed T, and clamp it for keeping the shape;
4) The workpiece goes forward to the machine bed, which is the working area of this T Beam Assembling
machine;
5) There are final assembling unit, in the form of set of alignment rollers (Please check the 3rd attached picture),
which adjusts and tightens the workpiece, finishing the second step of final assembly;
6) The 3rd step operation of this Z10 T Beam Assembling and Tack Welding machine is to have CO2 tack welding
in constant speed of 2000mm/min. along both sides of the assembled T Beam, making it into shape;
Z10 Automatic T Beam Assembly machine is mainly composed of:
1) Machine body --- Including Gantry frame assembled with Machine bed;
2) Input and output conveyor --- Same speed as Assembling and Tack welding;
3) Pulling rod system (Manipulator) --- For the first step of assembling (Rough assembling), installed on the
input conveyor, hydraulic driven;
4) Assembling unit --- For final step of assembling (Precise assembling), in the form of set of alignment rollers,
hydraulic driven;
5) CO2 tack welding system --- Including 2 sets of CO2 welding power supply and welding torch, wire feeder,
console;
6) Hydraulic system --- Give power on assembling process of this T Beam Assembly and Tack Welding machine;
7) Control system --- Its core element is PLC;
1) Operating panel (See attached) of Z10 T Beam Assembly machine is installed on the right lower section of
gantry column, for easy access and observance on working process;
2) Management of CO2 welding system is integrated into the machine panel.
