1) The attached first photo shows a piece of welding H Beam was being straightened out of a set of YTJ40 model machine. By visual inspection, this piece of H Beam has flange thickness of around 30mm, which is within the working capacity of YTJ-40;
2) Straightening Capacity: As the third set of essential H Beam Production Machine following H Beam Assembly Machine and H Beam Submerged Arc Welding Machine, YTJ-40 is the “lightest” model of YTJ series H I Beam Straightening Machine, for straightening Q345 (Tensile strength 510~600MPa) with H Beam flange thickness up to 40mm;
3) Of course, here “lightest” is compared with other models of YTJ series hydraulic drive equipment. As making comparison with mechanical drive HYJ series H Beam Straightening Machine, the YTJ-40 has obvious higher straightening capacity. The two models have different target application.

a) For each set of the YTJ series hydraulic automatic machine, there are two pieces of top straightening rollers and one piece of bottom straightening roller, composing a T shape cavity:

b) This is the critical working section for performing straightening operation;
a) During straightening process, driven with hydraulic pump cylinders, the two sets of upper straightening rollers descend down and press H Beam flange with great force;
b) With the action of top and bottom three pieces of straightening rollers, the flange of H Beam has plastic deformation in the state of three points stress, and got straightened in the machine;
c) Meanwhile, the bottom straightening roller rotates under the drive of conveyor motor reducer. In this way, the workpiece H Beam is transported forward, going thru the T cavity straightening area continuously along conveyor, and its flange got straightened successively inside the T shape cavity;
d) With this working process, one side flange of the H Beam is rolled and straightened continuously along its entire length;
e) If one time straightening does not straighten the flange to the required planeness, the second time straightening should be made. But most of the condition, one time operation of straightening is sufficient to meet the target;
The other side of flange of H Beam is straightened in the same way. Which means, for one piece of welding H Beam, it needs to go thru the equipment two times to be straightened;
4) Working Capacity of YTJ-40: The two pieces of top straightening rollers are of shaft case structure, with great loading capacity:

b) The two pieces of top straightening rollers are driven with hydraulic pump station by means of two sets of cylinders. This is different between hydraulic drive YTJ series and motor drive HYJ series H I Beam Straightening Machine;
c) With straightening speed of 9,000mm/min., the YTJ-40 hydraulic straightening machine has high efficiency;
d) There are input and output conveyors at the front and back side of mechanical main frame of the machine, for transferring H Beam into and out of the equipment.
