1) As shown in the attached 2nd photo and below, operator of the DX2040 machine needs to stand on motor drive lifting operating platform, so as to get access on high level machining point:

1) DX20xx and Larger models: For valid vertical milling stroke 2000mm and higher, operating stand is motor drive elevating type, which is integrated with milling carriage;
2) Light and Standard Model: While in DX1520 and smaller models of machine, the operating stand is separated from lifting style milling carriage, and fixed at bottom of the upright column, without elevating ability, shown in below photo:

3) The reason is, with increasement of vertical column height, the corresponding risk grows on its insufficient rigidity, which may lead to flabby upright column, and consequently unstable milling head and its operation in the machine;

1) Why have end face of pipe structure members to be polished?
2) This is for segments of these tank members jointed together in high quality, by means of either welding or assembly;
3) Before that, the rough layer of both sides end surfaces of the workpiece need to be removed, from the DX series machine;
1) The end milling under such condition belongs to ''Heavy Milling'', which means deep cut with large volumes of scrap generated, and relative lower requirement on roughness of finish effect;
2) The cutting depth in every working step of the DX2040 model machine is usually 5~6mm;
