Business Background: The attached first photo demonstrates on a set of Wuxi JACK DX1520 Pipe End Face Milling Machine working at customer site, performing end facing on a piece of Φ1000 mmm diameter pipe structure member of 10m length. 1) Workpiece Cross Section Outline: Not only round shape cross section workpiece like pipe structure member, but also all kinds of welding structure members, like H Beam/ I Beam/ BOX Beam… can be machined with this DX Welding Structure Member H Beam End Face Milling Machine;
2) Application: DX1520 belongs to one of the most popular models of the End Face Milling Machine group: It has 1500 mm vertical and 2000 mm horizontal valid machining area, matching perfectly with workpiece size delivered from HB1500 H Beam Production Line and standard size BOX Beam Production Line;

Referring to the 4th sketch, main body of a typical set of End Facing Machine includes three main components of:
a) This is foundation of the entire set of machine. The two critical indexes for its performance are enough strength and strict levelness;
b) The demand on strength and rigidity is guaranteed with its raw material and process technology: It is made of high strength section steels and welding structure members. After welded into shape, the entire set of base bed is heat treated integrally with annealing, guaranteeing non deformation and long time use of the End Face Milling Machine;
c) Precision and Tolerance: Its levelness is guaranteed with the heavy duty precise linear guiderail assembled, and installation process at customer site. There is stipulation on levelness of the End Facing Machine: Tolerance of 0.2mm/m, and or 0.6mm along its whole length;
d) Under special conditions, customers ask for casting base bed. For detail, please check product section of “Casting Base Bed DX3030”;
a) During work period, the vertical column moves along horizontal precise linear guiderail of the base bed, in the speed of either working (150~ 800 mm/min.) when make end facing, or idle (1200 mm/min.) when not in work. It is installed onto base bed with machined installing plate;
b) The critical point for this component is its verticality with respect to base bed, which should be checked rigorously during installation and commissioning of the machine;
a) This is working unit of the End Facing Machine. It is installed onto the vertical column by means of its machined installing plate, in the orientation of horizontal --- In all of the DX series machine product, milling head is installed in horizontal position, for the purpose of end facing job;
b) Being installed onto the vertical column, during work, the milling carriage moves up and down in either working speed (150~ 800 mm/min.) for fulfilling end facing operation, or idle speed (1200 mm/min.) when the machine not in work.
