3) Steel Structure T Beam: As in the field of Steel Structure construction, T Beams do not have same large volume as H Beams, and counterpart in Shipbuilding. Its process technology has many common points with welding H Beam production;

1. Vital Importance: This is the most important and largest consuming branch of T Beam. When people talk about “T Beam”, they usually refer to Shipbuilding use;
1) Sufficient Painting Adhesion: Ships run in river/ lake/ sea, where exist excessive damp and moisture-ridden. So, ship sub-assemblies painting should be durable and wear resistant. Correspondingly, Shipbuilding T Beam Production Line should have correspondingly working station;
2) Sufficient Mechanical Strength: In Shipbuilding, T Beam serves as face stiffener of ship skeleton. Correspondingly, sufficient IK value (Impact strength) should be guaranteed in T Beam Welding Machine;
3) Size: Shipbuilding T Beam have smaller size than Steel Structure use. Basically, T Beam height (End plate height) do not exceed 1000mm;
1. Half Finished H Beam: Steel Structure T Beam can be viewed as WIP (Work in progress) of H Beam: One piece of flange and web are assembled and welded into T Beam; Added with the 2nd piece of flange, T Beam is made into H Beam;
2. Larger Size: Steel Structure T Beam has max. web height of 1500/ 1800/ 2000 mm, same level as H Beam;
3. SAW Welding: Steel Structure T Beams do not need as high IK value as in Shipbuilding. Usually adopted with SAW (Submerged arc welding) in T Beam Welding Machine and 3 in 1 T Beam Fabrication Machine;
Here we briefly summarize the five major steps in process route of T Beam production:
1) Strip plates with width in the range of 150mm~800mm/ 1000mm/ 1500mm, length up to 12000mm/ 15000mm are cut out from CNC Flame Plate Cutting Machine;
2) These strip plates will be served as end plate (Flange) and stiffener (Web) of T Beam;
1) Purpose: This corresponds with the first requirement on Shipbuilding T Beam: Strong painting adhesive performance;
2) Task Finished: T Beam end plate will have its both sides edges being deburred/ trimmed and rounded into 2.0mm ~ 2.5mm radius. This step is accomplished in working station RH1000 Edge Rounding Machine;
1) Function: Horizontal end plate (Flange) and vertical stiffener (Web) are assembled and tack welded into T Beam skeleton;
2) Tack Welding in T Beam Assembly Machine: 500A specification intermittent CO2 gas shielded welding;
As mentioned previously:
1) In Steel Structure T Beam Welding Machine, finished welding: 1000A Single Arc submerged arc welding;
2) In Shipbuilding T Beam Welding Machine, finished welding: 500A continuous CO2 GMAW;
