1) Typical mechanical frame bodies of machine please see the 3rd and 4th photos, in the state of before painting and after painting respectively. At a first glance, it looks similar to Welding Manipulator, but completely different kinds of equipment. The machines in the two photos are DX1520 model machine, the most popular model of its product group;
i. It is fixed into workshop floor, solid and sturdy. Under most majority of applications, it is made from welding structure members. Its height depends on specific model of machine. For this DX3030 model, it has height of around 600mm;
ii. Functions of this unit is to serve as foundation of the whole machine, and forms up the sliding base of the upright column (Hence milling carriage and head) along X axis in the process of face milling;
i. It is movable along the above mentioned horizontal bed with motor drive. It has two types of speeds: The solitary idle high speed of 1,200mm/ min. when not in end face milling, and adjustable working speed of 100~ 800mm./min. ; The latter speed is controlled with A.C. inverter;
ii. Function of this unit is to form spatial motion base of the milling carriage along both X and Y axis;
i. This is working unit of the machine. It consists of milling head and its installation board. Please check the attached 5th photo;
ii. The installation board moves up and down along the upright column under the drive of A.C. motor, leading the milling head going up and down accordingly, fulfilling facing operation in Y axis;
i. This is for operator to stand during work period. It is made from pattern plate, with safeguarding rails one full circle;
ii. For equipment of models below 2,000mm valid stroke (Excluding), for example DX15xx/DX10xx/DX12xx…, this standing is fixed at the bottom of the upright column;
iii. While for models higher than 2,000mm valid stroke (Including), for example DX2030/ DX3030/ DX4080… This standing is lifting type integrated with the milling carriage, moving as an integral unit during operation. Please check the attached 2nd photo.
