1) Function: This is a custom made product, which serves as large scale machine for sheet metal plate edge milling , designed and manufactured based on customer designated demand;
2) Structure and configuration: Both sides of the machine worktable are assembled with lengthways precise linear guiderails, which are fit with 2 sets of milling head and its carrying moving carriages respectively. Which means, this set of FXBJ-18 large machine has 4 sets of 7.5kW milling heads in total:
3) Worktable, its both sides linear guiderails, and 4 sets of milling head carriages in the FXBJ-18 Large Scale Sheet Metal Beveling Machine: (Fig.1)
1) Facer blade: All the 4 sets of milling heads in this large machine are equipped with Φ200mm dense teeth facer blade;
2) Bevel type: Among the 4 sets, of which the 2 sets of milling heads are used for fulfilling straight and upper edge milling can cut straight edge of steel plate into degree of 1:8, guaranteeing on perpendicularity and parallelism of finished workpiece;
3) In this Large Scale Edge Milling Machine, milling angle of each set of the milling head can be adjusted individually under motor drive, in the range of 0°~83° for one side, and -25°~50° for the other side;
4) Running of milling head and its facer blade in FXBJ-18: (Fig.2)
1) Workpiece handling: The mechanical pressing beam can be moved forward and backward in the direction perpendicular to edge milling stroke. This is for the purpose of getting easy and convenient loading steel plate into and out of the large scale machine;
2) Workpiece clamp: During edge milling operation, the steel plate is held firmly between the array of hydraulic drive pressing jacks and worktable of the large machine;
3) Steel plate clamping between hydraulic jacks and worktable of the FXBJ-18 heavy duty large scale machine for edge milling : (Fig.3)

4. Electric control circuit of milling head carriage is routed with cable slides, safe and reliable;
1) Double tiers of linear guiderails assembled onto the long stroke worktable and base bed of this large scale machine, in the combined form of one hanging type, the other flat holding type;
2) This makes sure the best degree of milling carriage movement stability during edge milling running, eliminating vibration of milling head during its traveling and operation;
3) The arrangement of double tiers of milling heads linear guiderails in the FXBJ-18: (Fig.4)
1) These precise linear guiderails are forged into shape from top quality 45# steel;
2) Then go through series of machining process: First rough planning, then tempered, and then precisely machined;
3) After being machined, the guiderails are heat treated with quenching;
4) And then precisely honed;
5) And finally, these guiderails are secured onto machined bed of the large scale machine for edge milling by means of bolts;
6) The linearity of these precise linear guiderails along the whole length of the Large Scale Edge Milling Machine is controlled within the tolerance of 0.2 mm/m;
7) Observance on double tiers of precise linear guiderails onto mechanical bed of the Large Scale Edge Milling Machine: (Fig.5)
1) All the main transmission elements are installed inside mechanical body of the machine, or at concealed sections, making sure effective lubrication;
