In pragmatic use, there is sometimes requirement on Special Made Weld Positioning Equipment, on the basis of conventional or standard single table type Weld Positioner; These tailor made special design models can be summarized into:

3) With the similar basic structure and working principle as universal single table top Weld Positioner;
4) What’s unique and specialty with these Special Made Welding turntable is usually with adopted Welding Fixtures, and peripheral units.
Personalized Special Made Weld Positioning Equipment varies from case to case. Let us explore what solution we designed and made for a customer who comes from a precision Electrical Appliance Apparatus Company:
a) Workpiece welded with this purpose designed special made product has long length and round shape cross section;

b) So, two sets of V section brackets on the surface of Welding turntable are used for supporting and securing workpiece, together with fiber ribbon. (See attached and above picture);
2) Welding Turntable of the Special Made Rotary Welding Positioner:
a) Also, to cater for the long cylindrical parts to be fabricated here, Welding turntable is not traditional round shape. Instead, it has square top surface: (Fig.2)
b) Accordingly, this special welding equipment has rectangular shape Welding turntable of 2000×3000mm area;
a) As introduced in the product section of Single Welding turntable models, such kind of Weld Positioning Equipment usually do not need foundation: Just fixed it in the floor with anchor bolts;
b) Comparatively, in this specific case of tailored made, due to the long length of workpiece, the corresponding revolve diameter of Welding turntable is also large;
c) So, during operation of the Special Made Weld Positioner, when the long length workpiece is turned downward to 90°, there will be interference with the ground. For this reason, a pit of certain size and depth was dig at customer working site (see attached and below picture).

1) For the same reason, when designing control system of the welding equipment, the action sequence of the Welding turntable should be like this: Only when the Welding turntable is parallel with ground, can it being tilted;
2) Only when the Welding turntable is titled to 90°, can it being revolved;
3) In this manner, the long length workpiece of this Special Made Welding Positioner will not have conflict with surrounding objects.
a) To guarantee on solid support on the long length workpiece in this customized model of product, the mechanical main body of the Weld Positioning Equipment is designed into double bed style of left and right side;
b) The Special Made Welding Positioner base beds are made from structure members welded into shape with profiles and section steels, and went thru annealing process for maintaining high strength of the Weld Positioning Equipment;
c) These two Weld Positioner beds are connected into an integral body by means of two pieces of box beam;
d) Such kind of design and process technology make sure stability and durability of the welding equipment;
In technical proposal we proposed helical gear reducer of 17 arc minute for this purpose Special Made Weld Positioner.
