2) Nomination: The three letters of “PHJ” in Chinese language stands for “Assembly”, “Welding”, and “Straightening” respectively. Hence its model got from --- Denoting the specification of finished product, and functions integrated in this 3 in 1 H Beam Welding Machine;
a) In view of process step: The alternative name is “H Beam Assembly Welding Straightening Machine”, which gives the three critical process steps in producing welded H Beam in this Vertical I H Beam Welder;
b) In view of core function: Welding is the core step in producing welded T Beam H Beam, so this machine is sometimes called Integral Function H Beam Welding Machine;
c) In view of welding mode: SAW (Submerged arc welding) takes up 90% of welding mode in this H Beam Welding Equipment. So, some people call it “SAW H Beam Fabrication Machine”, or “SAW 3 in 1 H Beam Welding Machine”;
d) In view of workpiece (Welded T Beam/ H Beam) position: (Fig.1)
i. During production of welded H Beam in this Integral Function H Beam Fabrication Machine, the workpiece is in the position of vertical (Web upright, and flanges lying flat), see above;
ii. Comparatively, there is another kind of H Beam Welding Equipment, in which workpiece is in horizontal position (Web lying flat, and flanges upright) which takes less share of application. For this reason, this PHJ15 model machine can also be named as “3 in 1 Vertical I H Beam Welder”;
e) In all, up to now, there is no unified nomination with this series of Integral function H Beam Welding Machine. The above just list several common used ones.
a) This system is for assembling the 2 pieces of flange and 1 piece of web cut from CNC Strip Plate Cutting Machine, and fit it into 工 shape before being welded in the machine;
b) There are three sets of hydraulic driven manipulators installed among the input conveyor roller table of the H Beam Fabrication Machine, supporting the steel plates and align them into the shape of T Beam (For the first time of Assembling and Welding) and then 工 Beam shape (For the second time of Assembling and Welding);
There are two optional configurations of welding mode:
a) SAW (Submerged arc welding), for accomplishing Light and medium duty welded H Beam, most majority of over 90%: Includes 2 sets of either China brand, or U.S. brand Lincoln welding source; And 2 sets of automatic welding flux conveying and recycling system;
b) CO2 Welding, for carrying out producing super Light duty welded H Beam only, account for less than 10%: Includes 2 sets of either China brand, or Japanese Panasonic welding source;
a) This unit performs the final (3rd ) step in core jobs of the machine;
b) It straightens flange deform post welding in the Vertical I H Beam Welder;
c) The critical element of this unit is a group of straightening rollers (3 pieces), which is hydraulic driven, in the working mode downward stroke straightening.
