In the field of Port Machinery and Hoisting Machinery manufacture, there is a kind of important raw material, which serve as structure member of the integral machine:
Cross section height is in the range of 1000 ~1500 mm;
Cross section width is in the range of 1500 ~3000 mm;
Total length of the workpiece is in the range of 20~30m;
To make it has sufficient integral strength, these large section beams are made of Ribbed Plate Element, or Stiffener Plate Element;
Please see attached and above picture. A piece of steel plate welded with one to three or more pieces of stiffeners or ribs in parallel, to make it fabricated into a piece of welded plate element with sufficient rigidity, for the next step of producing large section beam or large section box beam.
1) After welding the stiffeners/ ribs onto the steel plate, these ribbed plate elements or stiffener plate elements usually exhibit deformation because of heat input, which should be straightened for next step process;
2) Henceforth, the J series Rib Plate Straightening Machine is for straightening welded and deformed Ribbed plate element /Stiffener plate element.
The workpiece name of “Ribbed Plate” and “Stiffener Plate” is equivalent to each other, and can be exchanged. Besides, considering its finished product and application industries, there are several names for this machine, which can be enumerated as below:

1) The J series Stiffening Plate Element Straightening Machine adopts working way of workpiece passing thru its main body, and got straightened at the same time. This is similar to H Beam Straightening Machine, and Angle Steel Straightening Machine;
2) Each of the straightening unit is the combination of two pairs of top straightening rollers, with one piece of bottom straightening roller. The top straightening rollers move downward, and the bottom straightening roller just revolve;
3) During working of the Ribbed Plate Element Straightening Machine, workpiece travels thru the clearance between the top and bottom rollers, and got straightened at the same time. See below:
4) There are three groups of straightening units installed into one set of J series Stiffener Plate Straightening machine. So, up to three pieces of stiffener plate / rib plate on the workpiece can be straightened simultaneously.
