Background: The attached is a set of ZHJ5010 Special Made Light Duty Automatic H I Beam Fabrication Machine exported by Wuxi JACK for a customer in Chelyabinsk Russia in July. 2021.
1) Workpiece Specifications:
a) Purpose and Output: Customer planned to use this tailor made machine to produce small size and light weight welded H Beam/ I Beam/ T Beam, with higher demand on IK value of welding seam;
i. H Beam Flange Width Range: 80~ 500 mm (In comparison, "Standard" workpiece: 150~ 750 mm.);
ii. H Beam Flange Thickness Range: 6~ 20 mm (In comparison, "Standard" workpiece: 6~40 mm);
iii. H Beam Web Height Range: 160~ 1000 mm (In comparison, "Standard" workpiece: 200~ 1500 mm.);
iv. H Beam Web Thickness Range: 6~ 16 mm (In comparison, "Standard" workpiece: 6~40 mm);
v. H Beam Length Range: 3,000~ 20,000 mm (In comparison, "Standard" workpiece: 3,000~ 15,000 mm);
c) So, much smaller workpieces in this tailor made Automatic H Beam Welding Machine compared with those manufactured from standard models (ZHJ8015/ ZHJ8018/ ZHJ8020);
a) 2 Types of Welding Mode: Due to the fairly percentage of very small thickness (Less than 5~6mm) workpiece to be welded, and higher demand on welding seam rigidity, both the traditional SAW (Submerged arc welding) and CO2 gas shielded welding are introduced into the machine. The SAW is used for welding medium thickness workpiece (6~ 20mm), while CO2 for small thickness ones (≦ 6mm);
b) For this reason, the ZHJ5010 model machine should have capability on performing both types of welding mode.
Wuxi JACK Leading Position: As the pioneer and front runner in H I Beam Fabrication Machine, Wuxi JACK has gained rich experience in design and manufacture the equipment to meet the specific demand from customers over the decades. Based on request from customer, the ZHJ5010 model machine should be in the style of:
a) Redesign and calculate for the designated specification workpieces. Compared with the standard size of (4,000mm width x 4,200mm height x 28,000mm length), the ZHJ5010 integrated function Automatic H Beam Welding Machine should have the overall dimension of (4,000mm width x 3,600mm height x 40,000mm length);
b) The sub-assemblies have reduced sizes accordingly. Please check the attached 1st photo on appearance of the whole set of ZHJ5010 machine at Russian customer’s site; And its input conveyor in the 2nd photo;
a) 2 Welding Modes: The ZHJ5010 is equipped with 2 types of welding system: SAW and CO2 respectively, with SAW as major welding made, and CO2 MIG/MAG as backup supporting mode;
b) Welding Control Consoles: Please check the attached 3rd photo. Control console of SAW power supply (Black color, on the top) and operating panel of the H Beam Welding Equipment are installed at the right column of machine main body, and control consoles of CO2 MIG/MAG are installed at the left column (Not shown in the photo). This is requested by customer;
c) 100% Validation before Delivery: To make sure satisfactory CO2 gas shielded welding quality, Wuxi JACK had validated this welding mode repeatedly until 100% making sure no problem. Please check the attached video on validating process at Wuxi JACK workshop.
