1) Model of XBJ and SXBJ series Plate Edge Milling Machine is nominated on the basis of its longest edge groove cutting stroke. The common seen models selected by customers in the market are: XBJ & SXBJ-3/ 6/ 9/ 12 /15/ 16/ 18, which correspond with 3000/ 6000/ 9000/ 12,000/ 15,000/ 16,000/ 18,000 mm edge milling stroke respectively;
2) Such arrangement on “standard” models of machine is aroused out of convenience on its mechanical main frame production, because the standard length of pressing beam and base bed are more easy and quick for machining and heat treatment, as well as final assembly of the machine;
3) On the other hand, to save manufacturing cost and correspondingly reduce purchase budget of the machine for plate end grooving , personalized edge milling stroke is designated by customer and produced by us, such as this SXBJ-10 model equipment here;
1) Standard Structure: Components and functions of machine are usually assembled at one side of the mechanical main frame for performing workpiece loading, and the opposing side for running of milling units;
2) Comparatively, in this personalized SXBJ-10 Plate Edge Beveling Machine, both sides can be taken as either workpiece loading, or edge milling operation;
3) In other words, if you view this personalized SXBJ-10 model machine from its lateral side for checking its cross section, you will find it is a symmetrically designed and produced equipment;

1) The main reason behind it is for getting high efficiency edge grooving on steel plates, and flexible arrangement and adjustment on process material flow of the machine;
2) Besides SXBJ-10 model machine here, we have also successfully developed and delivered other models of machine with both sides of worktable edge milling operation, such as FXBJ-18 model, as well as SXBJ-12 model for Chinese and Overseas customers.
1. Manufacturing cost of mechanical main frame of such personalized machine is around 10% ~ 15% higher than that of conventional models equipment, which is because of not only dedicated design and virtual validation, but also special control on its production process;
2. The structure members for being assembled into final mechanical main frame of the Plate Edge Milling Machine, are welded from high strength and good quality thick steel plates and or section steels, and then went thru strict controlled heat treatment, so as to be destressed after welding, in the manner of high temperature tempering;
Mechanical main frame of the SXBJ-10 model machine: (Fig.3)
1) Equal length of pedestal extension: This is for the purpose of both sides of the machine mechanical main frame worktable can be installed with milling function carriages;
2) Hard Stops for Protecting Over Movement of Milling Carriages: This is for the purpose of preventing the milling carriage from moving outside of machine mechanical main frame worktable;
3) Yellow Color Overhanging Protecting Plate for Precise Guiderail: This is for the purpose of protecting the important component: Precise linear guiderail, from infiltration of edge milling debris falling onto it, so that stability and precision of edge milling operation may be affected;
4) Solid Connection Joining Plate Edge Milling Machine Pressing Beam and Working Table: As can be identified from it, the original 2 pieces of sub-assemblies, the pressing beam and working table, are assembled into a final integral mechanical main frame by means of the two pieces of such solid connection, which are strengthened by top and bottom two circles of stiffeners, fully guaranteeing on rigidity and strength of the entire set of the machine.
