GD High Efficiency Hobbing Cutter for Steel Plate Beveling

1.       Application and Characteristic of GD series Hobbing Cutter:

1)      GD series Hobbing Cutter belongs to the Welding Equipment for welding groove preparation: It is used for small plate chamfering, making prepare for welding operation that followed. So, Hobbing Cutter has similar function as Edge Milling Machine, and Triple Flame Cutting Machine, but in different working style and aiming on smaller size of metal plate;

2.       Working Principle of GD series Rolling Shear Beveling Machine:

2)      As can be seen from the above pictures and attached photos, there are a piece of rolling shear, or hobbing cutter, equipped at working unit of the Rolling Shear Beveling Machine;

3)      During work, with the going forward of the small metal plate through the working section of the Hobbing Cutter, the small metal plate is squeezed and beveled in the process of shear revolving, accomplishing the task of small plate edge milling;

3.       Main Units and Operation of GD Series Small Plate Edge Milling Machine:

1)      Main Units Composing GD model Rolling Shear Beveling Machine:

a)       As can seen from the attached photos, the GD series Small Plate Chamfering Machine is mainly composed of mechanical machine body, rolling shear, input and output supporting racks of 3m long each, and control system;

b)      The input and output supporting racks are used for holding workpiece in the process of small plate chamfering in the GD model Rolling Shear Beveling Machine;

2)      Operation of the GD model Small Plate Edge Milling Machine:

a)       To relieve hands of operator during operating the GD series Hobbing Cutter, control of the Hobbing Cutter is supplemented with foot pedal switch, besides operating panel. Please check attached photos;

b)      There is an emergency stop button on the side wall of the GD model Rolling Shear Beveling Machine, which is close at hand for convenient quick access, in case contingency happens.
