1) MP Series Plate Joint Butt Welding Machine has two major functions: One is primary task of melt through welding for joint two pieces of metal plates; The second is triple cutting as shown in the first photo, for making beveling on edges of the metal plates ahead of butt joint, to get ideal condition of welding seam formation;

a) In Triple Plate Cutting Machine, gantry beam travels along rails, and metal plate is kept still on its cutting platform;
b) Here in MP series Plate Butt Joint Machine, gantry platform is fixed type, and triple cutting torch travels along its guiderail in adjustable speed for triple cutting. The triple cutting speed can be adjusted with the turning knob and controlled by means of A.C, inverter, within the range of 100~ 800 mm/min.;

b) Working Speed Management: You can find there is a digital display and turning knob on it. In MP series Plate Joint Butt Welding Machine, working speed of both triple cutting and melt through welding are all controlled with A.C. inverter (Two individual ones), shown in the same digital display and turned with the same turning knob. Because at any certain moment only one of functions work;
Same as butt welding torch, in MP series Plate Butt Joint Machine, the triple cutting torch have three dimensional degree of freedom:
a) Motor drive up and down (constant speed) plus manual cross slide, based on thickness of metal plate;
b) Motor drive leftward and rightward (A.C. speed control) along guiderail of gantry platform, for fulfilling beveling process in this Flat Butt Welder;
c) Manual adjustment forward and backward, for making the triple cutting torch right at cutting edge of metal plate;
In MP series sheet metal steel plate Flat Butt Welder, there are three routings of gas tube for triple cutting:
a) The blue color preheating oxygen;
b) The blue color cutting oxygen;
c) The red color cutting gas: Acetylene or Propane;
